I disagree that we would have heard about anything. The few things we've heard haven't come out until much later than the initial happenings. Nothing has officially been released. You can call it a nothing-burger all you'd like but we have zero knowledge right now.
They found evidence of crimes against some people and we've seen indictments, since then we've heard nothing because they have nothing. I'm just trying to get people prepared for the inevitable letdown. We've got many people in this forum that have pinned all of their hopes on some kind of miracle criminal charges appearing out of nowhere and that's not healthy.
We've seen some evidence and some convictions because the investigation isn't finished. I don't think anyone should pin their hopes on the investigation or on nothing more coming from the investigation. I think it's best just wait and see.
Watergate took over 3 years before it concluded. They already handed out indictments from Trump's hiring of the "best people" in less than a year and the investigation is still ongoing despite Trump's best efforts to end it. All experts that actually have more details of the investigation than both you and I agree that the investigation must continue. You even have GOP senators that are encouraging the investigation's continuation that have more inside info on what's transpiring. I don't understand why you're so quick to sweep this under the rug while claiming there's nothing to see here when all evidence provided so far indicates otherwise. If Benghazi can receive over seven Congressional investigations which amounted to little, then I think we can continue this investigation without citing it as a waste of tax dollars or whatever excuse is being parroted. I think we can no longer say we must express concern over our nation's debt after the tax cuts anyways. At least if you're a Trump supporter that is. If Trump's innocent, then there should be no issue with letting the investigation continue. Instead, we got a President that's acting extremely guilty by trying to undermine the investigation multiple times over. An innocent person wouldn't act the way he is but that's just personal bias speaking. Not sure why I'm posting this now. Plenty of posters have already explained this to you while you just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and mention Hillary.
BtG promotes an anti-Democrat philosophy. Anything that would make a Democrat sad, BtG is for. BtG is just that superficial.
2 of the 3 branches of government are maximizing their powers granted by the constitution. The executive branch already stated it plans to drag in the judicial branch. Just as we hear references to cases that are decades old and sometimes centuries old, this scenario will be permanently etched into American history and will be referenced for the remainder of your life here on earth and long after ...assuming America is still solvent. Regardless of your current political affiliation, this is fascinating stuff that historians will study for years, not just domestically but internationally. Whole books have been and will continue to be written about this. If this bores you, that speaks more about you than the situation.
