Please send Adams to the the Clippers for DeAndre! Please!

Adams is the most consistent player on that team and with him gone the Thunder would be an 8th seed even with Jordan.

For the Clippers, Adams is better than letting Jordan leave for nothing.

Wow. The Thunder are down on tradeable draft assets but could swing something like this:

Jordan + Williams for Adams + Singler + Ferguson

It may be tough as they have Lou Williams, who is an expiring contract, that can possibly nab more than the aforementioned 3 of the Thunder.

This stinks of leverage. Clippers trying to make it seem like there's other legit suitors for Jordon. On the other hand, Clippers have been making some good moves this year so I guess I can't say this won't happen

Bradley can't be traded in combination with another player for 2 months, hence why it's Jordan/Lou and not Jordan/Bradley.

Terrible. Westbrook and Adams probably the closest on that team

I think that's the package right there. They get mariginally better, but that's too much to give up for rentals IMO. For example, I wouldn't give up Capela for that return. Then the Clippers can re-build around Adams. That sounds sad, but it's better than nothing for them.

The Rockets need to get bigger and more athletic at the center position. Either Adams or DeAndre are too big for Capela or Nene

If you were talking about matching up with guys like Davis or Towns I’d say yes we need an upgrade but I’m not too worried about Jordan or Adams scoring 15 points.

If they get Lou that could be big.
They've never really had any scoring punch off the bench since Harden left.

Points aren't my concern. It's getting destroyed on the boards, offensive rebounds & 2nd chance points. Those are momentum changers that can hurt us down the stretch of games

If that's what they need, I hear Blake Griffin is good at punching.

The Clippers are pretty much doing a teardown. Or so it would seem. So why attach themselves to Adams' contract at $25,000,000+ per?

There's always that "get a third team involved" thing, I guess.

It would still make sense if they're not getting anything good back by DeAndre and Lou, like, no 1st rounders. Adams is some pretty good value even if he has a big contract so, if they know DeAndre and Lou are gone anyway, getting Adams would still be better than nothing.

I'd be very concerned if they got Lou.

This is an all out move for this season + an all out move to somehow keep George with a max contract.

If this fails and George leaves they are 100% going to blow it up next season.

I'm not sure why. The reason Lou succeeds is because he has the ball in his hands a lot with LA. That won't happen with OKC. He will fall off sort of like he did when he came to the Rockets last year. He will still be a good player, but what makes him a threat is being able to have the ball in his hands.

From a financial perspective this definitely makes sense for OKC. They are a small market team that's probably suffering with all these high salaries and considering thatthey want to pay Paul George this summer and they are on the hook for Melos contract, they definitely need to shed high long term salary.
