That’s a myth. Rockets FIRST AND FOREMOST need to be fully healthy if/when they play GSW in a series.

A fully healthy (or close to healthy) Rockets have proven to be a problem for GSW.

Warriors will “turn it up in the playoffs. Guess what, so will the other 15 teams in the playoffs.

The Rockets are included in that subset of 15 teams I’m referring to. Rockets can take GSW....health is paramount.

Nope. It’ll be a battle for sure. No reason why Rockets can’t beat the Warriors in 6 or even 7.

In fact, that’s a more sustainable and realistic model if you are in the “Harden has to play out of his mind to beat GSW” camp.

People severely underestimate a fully healthy Rockets team this year.

Why isn’t Hakeem in that list?

Because he wasn’t as good a scorer as anyone on that list.

Hakeem was incredible, but not the scorer the other guys were consistently.

Might as well call Chris Paul the freshmaker.

Even when he isn't playing well, he allows Harden to get some rest when he's playing and on the bench. Harden is consistently finishing games stronger than he ever has.

If your talking pure offense Dirk has to be on that list.

And Tmacs peak would have to be up there.

I guess I misunderstood offensive skill set with high numbers.

Dream was an offensive and defensive stud. He certainly had the skills and tools of an offensive force.

    Nice.. mostly agreed with list.

I think the 2 biggest forgotten factors are 1) rules and 2) playoffs.

Malone's shooting falls-off significantly in the postseason, and every player last 15 years has had "un-checked" reign from the perimeter.

Harden could be the best of his Era, so that's an advantage regardless of evolution.

And McGrady actually is arguably one of the most physically gifted. His playoff legacy is why people don’t even consider him in these conversations. But if you considered Tmac in a vacuum...

Everyone knows fully healthy roster is a prerequisite.

But given that does harden need play mvp score 30 to 40pts and 8 to 9 assists a night for the rockets to win?

Or will all-star 20 to 25 pts 6 to 7 assists on some nights while everyone steps up?

I managed to get lower bowl tickets at a good price. I got my bright red Rockets hoodie on and when we get to our seats I notice it is smack dab in the middle of the Baseline Bums, their club of devoted, lifelong fans. All wearing the same exact jerseys with cheesy group rituals. Fun game to be in the middle of that but awkward AF.

Great to see the Beard continuing to remain hot. He is the MVP of the season so far. Keep it up. Nice to see CP3 making a successful comeback.

    Go Houston Rockets!

The latter. I really believe (with eye test evidence this season) CP3 is the perfect compliment to take burden, workload and pressure off of Harden.

I’ve said before that Harden’s minutes this year don’t seem as “exhausting” as years past because of CP3’s addition to the roster.

I think Harden getting efficient and timely 27-28 points a game with healthy play making and focused defense can get it done against the Warriors. A balanced attack with the key rotation contributing is how I perceive the Rockets overtaking the Warriors.
