i know its chocolate, but anyone love non-american cadbury's chocolate? Fruit and Nut from Amaechi-land is absolutely brilliant, it is IMO, the BEST chocolate bar in the world. However, when i come back to the states, it sucks, even worse than hershey. ive gone around the world and compared and from a scale from 1-10, this is what i found (with a regular hershey's bar being a 5)... 1. England (london heathrow and Underground stops) Cadbury's fruit and nut is a 12 out of 10. If you ever get the chance in London, it is worth the 2 pounds. its value is exponentially improved with a glass of milk and refrigerated. 2. Canada (Vancouver)- tried the cadbury's, it was ok, but not close to as good as london. not as creamy or rich, has a weird artificial taste to it. 6.5 out of 10 3. US- (New York- CVS) ugh, tasted like crap, leftover artificial taste to it. bland. 3 out of 10 4. Hong Kong (Watsons pharmacy)- closer to england, but still had that inferior colony taste to it, it may be england owned but it was not england made. Not quite up to par with London, but better than american chocolate, nonetheless. 8 out of 10. as for non-chocolate (sorry for the derailment) britains got some pretty good confectionaries in that department as well, but their chocolate is clearly superior to anything in the US.
starburst, reese's pieces, and smarties, and i'm glad i was reminded of atomic fireballs. haven't had one if forever but i love 'em.
Nothing, I mean NOTHING, beats the original Sour Patch Kids. They must be in the yellow bag - no knock offs will do. Granted, they make your entire mouth hurt after eating a bag, but man, are they good!
