Come on now, this man made the league change the rules because he's really that good.
How many times has the league changed the rules? Like 2 or 3 times?
To me, he's the GOAT, not even Jordan, Lebron or any of the nobody cares about has done this.

He would have had 70+ if the damn refs didn’t have it out for him.

Teams now know they can be much more physical with him and nothing will be called.

Yes he had a historic night but "greatest ever" that's going to damn far.

Remember gm 6 last year & that should help keep you grounded.

He's great but playoff performance carries more weight.

NBA Radio just called Harden the best current offensive player.

Eddie Johnson said Harden might be the greatest offensive player he's ever seen.
    _______

Most Points Created in a single game (All-Time)

    Wilt - 104
    Harden - 95
    Harden - 91
    Oscar - 88
    *Cousy - 87
    Harden - 86

James' game last night was only his 3rd highest.
    _______

Most career 50-point games (active players)

    Harden - 9
    Curry - 5
    Durant - 4

    Surprised no LeBron

And who makes Harden so great?

    RYAN ANDERSON, THAT'S WHO!

Every time Harden throws the ball to Anderson, Anderson refuses to do anything but throw the ball right back to Harden. Harden is then forced to do something magical with the ball that results in points scored.

Thank you Ryan Anderson for making Harden the greatest ever.

I think there's a discussion to be had here.

Looking at the current league and the players who can both score and create for others, I'm not sure it's really close. When we say best offensive player it's not simply about scoring, but the entire package.

KD is a better scorer, but he lacks Harden's court vision and ball handling skills.

Steph is a better shooter (duh) arguably a better scorer, and his handle is better yet he also lacks the playmaking ability of Harden.

Russ is explosive, and for arguments sake (assists) he is an equal playmaker (though Harden has a more natural, less forced feel for the game). He doesn't have the shooting or handles Harden does. His finishing around the rim through traffic is suspect.

Kyrie is a better shooter, better handles...again he lacks the ability to create for others Harden does.

Lebron is the only player who is supreme to Harden in playmaking and court vision. Still...handles and shooting are not on Beard's level.

We're not talking about impact here. Players use what they have and that's why KD, Lebron and Steph are considered above Harden. But the entire package? The Shooting off the dribble and off the catch, the playmaking and ability to read the floor and elevate others, the ball handling, finishing through traffic, working in the post if required, getting to the line when the shot isn't falling. Getting buckets off isolation and in the open court...Harden has a case as the best all-around offensive player right now. Damn impressive stuff.
