That is the question of the day on this one. But going into the season nobody knew how CP3 would play with Harden on the court much less feel he could change around someone else's career attitude. Someone like Anthony would have to have a year or two of feeling like he is no longer the front runner before a contender actually can take a chance on him to be a pivotal piece for a championship type team.

Gotta love these college age kids that have 14 posts in 6 years and use it to trash our owner when we have the 2nd best record in the league.

Technically Morey is our GM and Fertitta is our owner but you’re right.

Drafting is 30/70. 30% talent evaluation and 70% luck.

Well... this is got to be one of the worst posts of all times. So 27 teams passed on the guy and Morey is to blame... Denver and Brooklyn really must have top notch staff, as they are competing for a title every year. You're just plain dumb. I'm going to stop here so I don't say anything that may get me banned...

As much as people think Morey is a cold-hearted analytics b*stard, he usually sends his players to places they are ok going to. Look at all the trades he has made in the last few years:

He sent Morris to play with his brother in Phoenix

Traded Asik to NO where he could be a starting Center

Sent KJ McDaniels to the Nets where he could get playing time.

there are more, but it seems like Morey asks where players would like to go and tries to make it work.

Ahhh, poor KJ. I wonder if Houston stunted his growth or prolonged his career.

So do basically every other single team's scouts then, by your standards our scouts are on level footing with the majority of the league.

Can’t edit at this time for some reason.

After further research. No on Biyombo
    Biyombo: $17 mil (17/18), $17 mil (18/19), 17 mil (19/20 PO)
    18.6 mins/game, 5.4 pts, 5.9 rbs, 0 (3P%), 68 (FT%)

    Ryan Anderson: $19.6 (17/18), $20.4 (18/19), $21.3 (19/20)
    28.3 mins/game, 9.9 pts, 5.6 rbs, 37 (3P%), 78 (FT%)

I wouldn’t trade for Biyombo even if the Cavs told us they would do a SnT using Biyombo.
I would expect shanaigans to prevent LeBron to Houston this summer.

Will need 3rd team to trade Ryno package for LeBron. May not need 3rd team if it's Bismack package for LeBron, especially if Orlando includes pick/young player like Hezonja.

Not the best trade option but we could use Bismack this season, especially in postseason, plus he would be more attractive to Cleveland than Ryno, who is a lesser talent than Love or much more expensive version of Frye.

I tend to agree. If the issue is finding something that Cleveland values, Biyombo might fit with them. Once they lose Lebron and jettison Love, they'll have almost no frontline. They desperately need a rebounder/rim protector and Biyombo, for all his flaws, can do those things.

Morey hopes to get a player who has only one or two years contract (including 2017-2018) to trade Ryan

Well they are paying Cousins and Davis why would they want Anderson? I think a better team would be Philly since they have Reddick on a massive expiring and Anderson would provide spacing for Simmons, Embiid and their rookie pg.

Philly is 1 of the few teams with decent cap space next summer...no way in hell they blow 20 mil of it on Ryan Anderson

Philly hangs up the phone before Morey can even say Ryan’s last name

Please enlighten me on what Boogie has done to himself to sustain a potential career altering injury. He was traded by the Kings before given a contract he really deserves and told he wouldn't be traded, he's done nothing off the court this season or really ever that would lead anyone who is paying attention to come to the conclusion he deserves to be injured. He's never been arrested, never gotten into bar fights, never been caught using a banned substance, never been accused of domestic violence, never gotten a DUI, or anything that other pro athletes have and have been scrutinized far less for. He doesn't have ten kids with ten different baby mommas, he's never kicked a homeless man, never beaten kids, etc. He's never had a contract he hasn't lived up to. The guy had 44-24-10 (only a handful of people have ever done this) the other night, he had a triple double last night in beating the Rockets and had the highest +/- in the game (+16 in a 2 point win, AD was a -4). Im assuming you think he's a bad guy because he gets upset on the court about the game o_O or because he's played for the worst FO in the NBA most of his career (worse than even the NY Knicks) and has been frustrated over it.

I felt bad for him being down and worrying but gen I thought about it. This is very unprofessional by Anderson, the whole point of guaranteed contract in the nba is for them to nitntinhave to worry about their future like NFL players do. No matter where he goes he's still goin to be making 40 million the next two years which is a lot better piece of my mind than the average American has. He has job security. What is he down about? He's goin through what every player who isn't a cornerstone goes through.
