Yea maybe. I know it’s cyberx but it could be for that reason or to create noise so that other teams try to steal those players from Morey and the rockets. Kinda like okc did with GP13 and Melo.

 

Rockets will not be giving up first round pick just to unload Ryno. That defeats the point of stocki g up on assets to S&T for LeBron in off season.

If you give up a first then it better be for a player that will make you forget LeBron b/c that trade kisses any chance of acquiring him a def goodbye.

 

If we trade Ryan and don't get a PF back , then who starts at PF ?

9 men isn't super deep , but it's for sure not a short rotation .

 

Isn't he very close with Eric Gordon? Is there something where he knows Harden doesn't trust him at all on the court? That's kind of what it seems like to me.

Agreed. I think it's a shame, it seems to be all mental, he has the skills, and we have seen him leap as well. Why does he then after the game go "Don't expect to see much of that"...

Favors is younger and better than Ryan. He rebounds better.

We got lucky with Green ... And green was really hot from 3 .

I don't think it's gonna be that simple to sign a guy who can start in his place . That's bringing spacing and chemistry on defense. A street FA will have to adapt to our scheme in just a couple of months.

Ryan may not be physically gifted , but he is solid on rotations.

If we are trading him for an upgrade its one thing .... But if we don't get playable pieces back ( i.e. Their value is solely in contracts ) then I'm against moving a player who plays 30mpg and starts for us . It forces the players on our roster to pick up too much slack or hope that we get lucky with a street FA

 

How about Ryno, Zhou, Hartenstein, and a pick for Derrick Favors and Joe Johnson?

 

Probably Tucker, as he started when Ryno went out. Does that really hurt us? Ryno is giving us nothing and will probably hurt us in the playoffs again. We could lose Ryno for nothing, put PJ in his place, and move Green up into the rotation and not even notice the difference. Ryno's been that bad.
