Hopefully some other NBA team sees his greatness and snags him up.

He was the one to Calm Cp3 or harden down if there was some problems.

Seems like the guy players trust

It's dumb, but if he's necessary to keep the team together I guess whatever.

I hope next year they just make him a coach.

DM: "See, James? I'm considering bringing back your buddy -- if I can't find someone more useful before the trade deadline, which, let's be honest here, I should have no problem whatsoever doing."

Ever heard of team chemistry? You really wanna disrupt this team? You guys find anything to complain about. What difference does a roster spot make? Brown will only see garbage time and we don't have a 12 man rotation! Who do you want instead of Brown to take up the valuable 2 minutes in blowouts!?!

If the Knicks were the 2nd best team in the NBA no-one would have gave a ****.

You guys didn't say **** when James Jones was on the Cavs huh?

If you really think a guy who doesn't play, but just hangs around the team is that valuable to chemistry and the difference between winning and losing, AND on top of that take away a spot from a potential veteran who could help us out, then I don't know. Maybe I am underrating chemisty here, but it's not like he's Mutombo who actually provided valuable minutes in the play-offs in 2008 and 2009. We are talking about Bobby freaking 'I can hit a three every now and again' Brown. If he is really that valuable, which I really cannot imagine, sign him as an assistant to hang around the team.

This. As an example of what can unexpectedly be done with a roster space, see Gerald Green.

Let me break down the reality of minutes.

We have Harden, Paul, Ariza, Luc, Tucker, Anderson, Gordon, Capela, Nene, Green, Black.

Now tell me why having Brown here takes away minutes from any veterans? You have Zhou, Williams, and Nanu on the roster too right? What valuable minutes are there? TELL ME?

What ****ing problem do you have with Brown taking 1-2 shots maybe once a week in blowouts. Mutombo was Yao's BACKUP not a victory cigar. What potential veteran wants to come to this team to play 2 minutes a WEEK?
