ok, i am a lowley junior member, but i have a really strong theory about why c-webb will be a rocket.
he loves his peeps. he is a huge collector of black history memoriabelia, and is most likely homesick since he is a huge minority in sac-town. yes, harlem in ny city is the spot for black culture in america, but houston has the fastest growing, most diverse black population in the south. also, rudy is THE players coach, he would definatley be with the BEST backcourt in the nba with wink and cat, and also, get ready for this, he will get to make a playoff run with hakeem!
now, i know that alotta ya will say, but we can't pay him enough. well, hakeem is a man, he wants to win more than anything. you don't think he will hang with us for the veterans exception if he thinks we can make a seriouse go at it? all that strife earlier was only because he was being treated as an antique and a figurehead who was washed up. it was the first time he felt healthy in a few years, and he was excited about playing with "the kids" hell, look at how he was determined to come back! he loves the game, he's got enough money.
shandon, cato, and walt will probably be dealt to a team for a real tough 3, and we will keep carlos and kt. mmoochie or colson will stay, plus the rooks(langhi and collier) the only questionmark is mo. i would love him to stay, maybe he will learn to rebound from c-webb, but he is uncertain. a backup 4 or a 3 in a pinch? i figure this will be a hell of a good team if these things come into fruition. ....whaddya think?!

I agree with you, but don't forget.
    1. He has family here that's trying to get him to come.
    2. Steve's a great recruiter (Cuttino, Mo)
    3. A lot of players already live here.

I hope all that comes true because that is how I would like to see it turn out. I don't care if Mo stays. KT is an excellent 4 off the bench.

It's political, in case you haven't noticed yet. [IMG]

That lineup would be tough to pull off money wise. But it sure would be fun to watch. Dream and Webber would be killer.
