    Rigged?

It was definitely a fumble and even if the ref didn't blow the whistle Lewis was touching Jack on the ground as he (Jack) had possession of the ball so it would have been reversed (if Jack had gotten up and took it for a TD).

not say its rigged but by the time jack got possession of the ball, lewis was not touching him.

It seems the Pats always get some weird break, the tuck rule, the goal line play call in the SB, this blown dead scoop and score, always something. Not suggesting it's rigged, I dont know how people can suggest that when Goodell clearly has no qualms about susending Brady, but man they really get lucky breaks.

I thought the Patriots got the benefit of the doubt on that fumble recovery. Jags didn't really have possession until he was separated from Lewis. It shouldn't have been whistled dead.

Also the targeting rule should be rewritten. Not much a defender can do when he's in motion to make a tackle and the WR lowers his head into the path of the tackle. It's an automatic targeting penalty by rule, but it's heavily favored towards WRs. Defenders pretty much have to allow the WR to make the catch if they want to avoid the penalty.
