Regardless, my & my friends' favorites have always been the ferrett and that stupid penguin for the Bud Ice Commercials. I had a friend back in the 90's who would randomly place a Penguin in the Fridge that had "Do Be Do Be Do" on its belly. It was hilarious. Here are the awesome Penguin commercials.
And... As much as I hated the Steelers in the Luv Ya Blue days, this is still a great commercial; it just should've been filmed with Earl Campbell of the Oilers; he was the one who was truly physically injured. Anyway, best one was this:
lol at all of the Dilly Dilly products that show up at the bottom of each page. dilly dilly socks ftw
I always liked the Miller Lite "Dick" commercials, although admittedly, I may have been the only person on earth. This was my favorite:
no one has ever explained it to as far as i know but i sort of see it as a "hear, hear!!" which is an old (like 1600s) british parliament saying said when agreeing with the speaker since clapping is forbidden. so basically use it when you agree with what the previous speaker said, that's how i take it and use it.
Here's the explanation from Miguel Patricio, Chief Marketing Officer of AB InBev: "Dilly Dilly" doesn't mean anything. That's the beauty of it. I think that we all need our moments of nonsense and fun. And I think that "Dilly Dilly," in a way, represents that. A lot of people asked me, "How did you approve that?" To tell you the truth, we never expected this to be so successful. It didn't test that well. We did that ad, actually, because of – the new season of "Game of Thrones" coming, but when we tested, it didn't test that well. We said, "Consumers will get it." And especially with repetition. We have a chance here for this to become big. So, we went against the research and we gave a chance to "Dilly Dilly" and we are so happy!" http://www.businessinsider.com/bud-light-dilly-dilly-viral-commercial-super-bowl-campaign-2017-12
It was funny the first couple times but Bud Light, in true corporate fashion, will run it into the ground mercilessly.
I haven't really seen those commercials very much. Aside from the use of Dilly Dilly (and the fact that it is Bud Light), I enjoyed it. I think going to war against impossible odds just to get some beer is a good idea.
It is stupid as hell, but my friends use it now that the Astros won the WS, so I'm guessing I'll have to deal with it for decades. I don't like it, but I have to embrace it due to majority rule...
I can't stand that or the song the kept playing during our playoff run. "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons. I think that's who it is. Terrible song. Hate that it'll be affiliated with our WS run.
