Except Calais is 31 years old. By the time the Cards are good, he will have likely slowed down. Still a great signing.
Here's another fact: "Jaguars Pro Bowl CB A.J. Bouye did not surrender a TD pass in his first 17 games this season" https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...ed-during-nfl-divisional-playoffs/1032827001/
Awesome. Hopefully for them he'll bounce back and not surrender too many of them next week against the Pats.
And yet stories pushed out by some local media types tried to tell us Bouye didn't want to be here under any circumstance. So we wouldn't have even had to franchise him. Somebody was manipulating the truth.
He did alright, sure he had a PI that set up the Pats in the red zone, then another blown coverage to get the ball down to the one when the Pats scored their first TD but once they gave Ramsey the job of following Cooks so that Bouye wouldn't get stuck covering him anymore he didn't give up much. I mean hell, it's not like last week when he gave up 2 TD's. He's got nothing to be ashamed of.
Just giving him a hard time lol. He's definitely a good corner. That PI was debatable but a very costly one. It's pretty clear he's a distant #2 to Ramsey as this is the 2nd week in a row they've had to switch to Ramsey following the top guy mid game. Not a knock because Ramsey is one of the best in the game but he got picked on two weeks in a row.
Because he left. Don't you know, you're always supposed to hate a guy who voluntarily leaves your team to go play for someone else. Carlos Beltran was a douche for 12 years after he left the Astros but then suddenly wasn't a douche when he came back.
Just check his twitter account. Always referring to his imaginary "haters" I can't stand athletes that are always pushing that narrative.
