the normal /nba it is a circle jerk but the team's individual subreddit is usually a lot easier to find more balance conversations.
Nailed it. Not "Laker" fans, "Kobe fans" who became "Lebron fans" for a few years and are now "Curry/KD" fans. I swear like 40% of NBA fans on social media fall into this bucket.
Most of those morons are not real fans, they're bandwagon fans. 3 Years from now they will hop on the 76ers, or the Timberwolves.
When it comes to Warriors fans, you've got to cut them some slack; most of them have only been watching basketball for 3 years.
LaRoux is a glorified Warriors beat reporter. When they talk about the Rockets there's usually the "but they don't have a realistic shot at the Warriors" qualifier
I was amused to see some Warriors fans congratulate the Rockets but quickly mention that Iguodala was out. Yeah, it would have been even better to beat them at full strength but let's not pretend that the Warriors are suffering any real adversity. Pretty sure the Rockets team last night was a bit more short-handed than theirs.
