On paper, Timberwolves have one of the most talented teams in the NBA. But until now they have underachieved. But now they are on the heels of 3rd seed.

They are definitely more talented than Spurs.

    Opinions on their outlook?

Honestly, one of the grittiest teams. Whoever ends up 4 & 5 between SA, OKC, Minny will make the first round interesting and second round somewhat watchable outside of the Rockets.

Pretty dangerous team in about a year or so

They are going to be gassed by the end of the year. Tom plays the starting five quite a bit.

I was really harsh on them early in the year because their defense was god awful, especially kat. But they have been playing much better and Butler is quietly playing fantastic.

Still I think they are about a year or two out from bein serious contenders. Teague is a bad fit imo and it would benefit them to get a more even or defensive minded PG like Conley.

Overrated. Recent run of games they have not really beaten anybody worth noting.

Sure they beat the Cavs, but everyone is beating the Cavs right now.

I don't like their team over any in the Top 3 in the West.

Timberwolves are less experienced but more talented than Spurs though. Agree?

Most teams are more talented than the Spurs.

    The spurs execute.

Assuming we're the #2 seed, right now I'm rooting for Minny to get that #3 spot. It just feels like they won't be able to win a 2nd round series this year.

I'm really interested in Thursday's game, I've had it circled on my mental calendar for a month now. I'll be very interested to see how well Trev/Luc can lock down Butler, how well Capela can defend/rebound against KAT, and what defensive approach they take (force us to drive, or give us the 3s). If Harden plays, I'm also interested to see how KAT handles Harden/Capela in the PnR.

Great effort by Timberwolves on B2B on the road against the Warriors while missing Butler.

At full strength and rested, they can beat any team.

They do need to upgrade coach though. Imagine Popovich with that kind of talent.

No thanks. Hate players that think they're better than what they are. Especially when ego comes into play. Wiggins has no business complaining. He's been there before butler got there and has done nothing

    You should watch more basketball.
He's averaged 24ppg, improved his defense and has become a better 3pt shooter. He just doesn't like Thibs. He's a younger, taller Ariza with freakish athleticism. He's got a little Tmac attitude in him but with Paul and Harden running the show he won't realize he's just a spoke in the wheel. Plus Jimmy's not ingratiating himself with Wiggins, let him spend a summer running around the world with James (Drue league, on stage at Travis Scott concerts in Paris, the Adidas tour in China) all that attitude **** will be gone. With a starting lineup of Cp3, James, Wiggins, PJ and Clint makes the Rox unfukwithable

If they offered to give us Wiggins I wouldn't take him.

Still a horrible defender, KAT has finally shown some improvement, but he still sucks. Not a playmaker, not talented enough to take over games, and inefficient (53 TS%, 1 to 1 Ast/TO).

He's basically Rudy Gay, only he's an even worse defender. If I'm paying a guy 150 million over 5 years I'm gonna need significantly more impact than that.

hes not even a 1st or 2nd option on a winning team. yet just signed an extension for almost $40 mil per. not even close to worth that nor does his play value that. hes nothing more than a role player
