Houston gets bashed for people not being in their seats at tipoff but this OKC game right now isn't exactly standing room only.
Two wrongs don't make a right. Fact is lower bowl is way too big and upper bowl way too small. You've got the Plebs competing and filling the upper bowl because they're priced out of the much larger lower bowl. It sucks and makes for a dead arena. Also, Ryno is basically blind because of the large, deep, lower bowl.
Yeah, they're looking pretty good here in OKC and I'm hoping they can pull this out. Rockets better be ready for the Blazers tomorrow. Man though ... Jusuf Nurkic. I can't believe Portland got him AND a first round pick for Plumlee and a second rounder. Didn't make a lot of sense to me then ... makes less now. I'm sure he's got some issues I'm not aware of but looks like a young, talented big. He's got 20 points and 8 boards tonight in 22 minutes.
Yeah there were issues with him in the lockeroom and he had some weight problems...but still, that was a terrible trade for Denver, and i can't believe no one had a better offer on the table.
It's funny ... sometimes I fall into lazy narratives without watching and I just assumed Portland was all offense, no defense again. They're actually pretty poor offensively (24th overall) but they're ranked 4th in defensive rating this season.
wow. could have fooled me. I thought the same thing, all offense and no defense. I would never guess Portland played defense with CJ and Dame in the backcourt. Westbrook with another triple double and a L!
That’s where the media actually gives u information. I’ve heard about the good defense of the blazers quite a lot this year
Yeah, when Rockets played Portland earlier in the season, it was a test because Rockets, at that time, hadn't played a real defense. I was surprised then to see how good they were on defense.
It makes me feel a little bit better about the Rocket's situation with Luc when you see OKC's defense fall off a cliff after losing their best defender (Roberson) too. Portland with 2 very impressive wins against the Thunder and Spurs with Dame on the shelf.. Hopefully Rockets aren't next. These OKC L's are not giving me that high with Rockets struggling..
