I give us like a 20% chance of beating GS in a 7 game series

next season is when I’m really thinking that we can take them down depending on what happens in free agency

I'm still adamant our weak crowd helps away teams relax on our home court. We do nothing to intimidate or add extra pressure on opposing players.

I think Weber and Anderson also help away teams relax.

I give you that, except for Scola, which was very much a product of Carol Dawson, Morey hasn't brought a good PF to this team , he tried with Chris Bosh but was not successful.

McHale yeah, a tad too old.

The first game we beat GS this season, PJ Tucker had 20 pts.
Tonight he had 0 point, that's the game right there.

Awful defense, no poise at the end of the game, silly fouls and we had so many times to separate ourselves and we just threw up horrible shots.

It doesn’t help that our PF rotation is straight up garbage. Ryno is playing scared and Tucker not doing anything besides a few stops. Not having Nene and Luc hurt more than not having Harden.

Also CP3 does not have his legs yet, but you can see he’s not playing his normal game with everyone standing around. It was embarrassing with CP3 doing the Harden iso dribbling. Was not impressed.

Yes exactly. Look, we are missing 3 guys and they miss 1 so we did well considering. I'm just concerned about that horrendous defense. If we had played some more in the 4th, we would've won. We also had no poise in the last few minutes. Horrible shots, even the ones that went in from Green and CP3. We cannot rely on these iso possessions against the Warriors and in the play-offs when it gets tight. We need to start relying on defense again, which might come back, but with how soft Capela, Ryno, Black are playing along with Tucker falling off lately it is not looking good.

By the way, I did not mean I was not impressed with CP3 overall. He was great as well as Gordon and Green, but those iso possessions, nobody moving around and CP3 just dribbling was embarrassing because he can do much more if we had some off-ball movement and gave CP3 some plays to work with. The guy is a genius in creating, but there's very little creating when you play a team like the Warriors on iso possessions. We're not maximizing CP3's potential.

Sorry, I somehow deleted the part of your post about harden

I agree with your observation for the most part, green will cool off shortly

Yeah but... Ariza 1/8 shooting 3's...Ryno pathetic, Capela soft.

Come on Anderson cannot play any d and cannot make shots in our system. Why we pay him 20M per year?

Our crowd sucks and also our scoreboard sound effects on offense/defense are really basic, unoriginal trash. Our team name is the Rockets. We're Space City. How about some cool space/alien themed sounds or something?

Anyway, as a basketball fan I definitely prefer watching the Rockets/Warriors play @ GS because it feels a lot better to shut the crowd up every time we hit a three.

Positives: green shooting, cp3 and attackmode eg. I loke how weber got meaningful minutes against the champs (may help down the road). The rotations and switches were great for stretches, but so inconsistent. But i also attribute this to great offball movement and giveanggos of gsw. Negative: outside shooting. Everyone not named gerald bricked. The isos. I know the spacing was deliberate, but we need movement. Atleast feign cuts. Anything.

You act like he wasted top 10 picks on these guys. To be fair TJones and DMo were really good players especially for where they were drafted. Injuries just derailed their careers.

True, yet they always ended up with better Centers than PFs.
