Sorry if I missed an early thread about this, but I haven't heard anyone dish out any opinions about SSX3. I really liked SSX Tricky and am anxious to check out 3. Any likes or dislikes???

I rented it a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! Some of the competitions are very long, and it takes some time to build up money and increase your skills. Tons of fun though. I think my wife is buying me this for a stocking stuffer, if not I will be buying it myself soon.

BTW - I played it on Gamecube

I liked SSX Tricky also...lots of fun.

What are the diferences/improvements from Tricky to 3?

I think SSX3 will have to wait till after I buy Simpsons Hit and Run..;)

Most of the voices are gone from Tricky, Psymon without Jim Rose's voice just isn't Psymon.

Other than that, I've had the game since it came out and I think it has improved in just about every other way.

I'm still having fun with SSX AND SSX Tricky. My four year loves it cause it's the only non-kiddie game she can actually finish a level on. Plus she thinks all the characters are funny.

    The main differences are:

    1) background/surrounding graphics are more precise.
    2) easier to stick landings on flips/spins (seems it may automatically center you better)j
    3) Course improvement with more shortcuts and weather hazards (sudden avalanche)
    4) One on One challenge with just you and the computer

I got it. It rocks. The whole setup is different, and, after you figure it out, much better.

I love the original... (EB for $9)

I have a demo only of Tricky because it didn't seem too different.

But I thiink the 3rd one may be the charm. And I may actually by it new.
