The Rockets' injury issues have continued to escalate, with center Nene the fourth player and third rotation member that will miss extended time. Nene did not go on the Rockets' road trip to Detroit and Chicago and is scheduled to have his bruised right knee re-examined late next week, which would keep him out of Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers. Unless he is immediately cleared to begin playing, he could have to sit out the trip to Phoenix and Los Angeles before the Rockets return home for a three-game homestand. Nene has played in 27 games this season, averaging 7.4 points and 3.3 rebounds. http://www.chron.com/sports/rockets...lague-compounded-by-loss-of-Nene-12478970.php
Big D Nene is no more. I don't think we'll see anything close to the kind of production he was able to put up last year. I'm not sure he can give us any more than 10-12 minutes of solid production every other game.
Don't worry, sometime around April he is getting back on them PEDs and he'll be ready to carry us into the finals. Yule C
Nene only got injured because he played so many b2b when Clint got hurt and well... he's old and should be out of the league. Rockets, the only team who have 2 rotation players that only show up to half of the 82 game season.
He has played 898 NBA games and participated in the various international competitions. He's probably injured more often than average but saying "most fragile" is a little over the top.
Rockets has 2 center player only. I hope his dick can recover soon. Ryno or tucker are not good at this.position. I hope they can try onaku
At this point, I think we have got shafted by Nene. I like Nene. But if I'm not mistaken he's done this his whole career. He's played great, gets a contract, then his production falls off. Then when it's time to reup he looks like he's found the fountain of youth again. His play earlier this year when he was healthy looked very lackadaisical. Hopefully I'm wrong, but Nene's been a non factor pretty much all season
