probably closer to 4. Because of the treatment you get a superstar athlete. Harden is the heart and soul of the rockets! We need a speedy recovery
I know Daryl has to keep CP and James happy, but the fact that there is no depth is partly their fault for wanting Bobby Brown to take up a roster spot. This guy is not an NBA player and is taking up a spot that could have gone to another player that actually could provide relief minutes. They should have this discussion sooner rather than later.
don't think Morey has found a legit 4th guard yet but if he does can't he use Webber or Jackson's spot?
Wtf! When Morey talked about warriors stuff, we start to lose and Harden get injured. Just shut you mouth out ,Morey . Do your job ,fat ass.
4 to 6 weeks easily. Maybe now the Rockets will learn. For those saying Harden chose to play through pain or injury, smart organisations do not give their players a choice. You have to protect them! MDA is also partly responsible as he kept riding him for 40 minutes. Not smart coaching in the least. Before Harden got injured, he had rested for 1 minute or not even in the whole 2nd half I believe. Almost 90% of CF predicted this would happen with the minutes, rotation and given how guys kept playing with injuries / coming back early. CP3 might be down soon too, again, it not fully healthy. In the long run good for Harden getting rest. If Rockets don’t learn though, prepare for an injury-riddled rest of the year.
Harden needs a month off in general. Always leading the league in total minutes, barely missing games, working out in the offseason, has made the playoffs almost every season in the league. Let him take a month. If Paul is healthy, this team can hold up till he gets back. While we might struggle offensively, I think we could see defense get much better. Not only because of Harden being replaced by better defenders, but also because the team knows they need to get wins other ways if Harden is down. It will be a learning experience. The only thing I'm worried about is getting a recurring hamstring injury in your late 20's is not good at all. They need to force Harden to rest.
When Curry was out for several weeks, Warriors managed a 9-2 record without him. If Rockets are supposed to be every bit as good and consider themselves true contenders, they need to go sometime like 9-2 as well. Like the Warriors did without Curry, everyone else on the Rockets needs to step up and show they can win without Harden. Otherwise they will reveal they are a top heavy, one-man team. Warriors met the challenge. Will the Rockets?
i don't think rockets need to answer your challenge...we may be more dependent on harden as a team than gsw depends on curry due to our system... if harden sits out it will be a good learning experience for us, no need to draw definite conclusions based on our record without harden...the good thing is our role players will get opportunity to play more and to show more initiative and take more responsibility... we have solid role players but perhaps they will need some time to adjust to their increased role and style of playing without harden or perhaps they will click immediately who knows...it will be exciting to watch
Harden will be evaluated after 2 weeks. https://sports.yahoo.com/james-hardens-hamstring-strain-wont-cast-pall-rockets-035221554.html
GS still had KD, Klay, and Draymond plus role players...the Rockets will have just 32 yo CP3 plus role players please don’t compare the 2
it will be joy to watch cp3 da gawd playing 30+ minutes in dantoni system i expect 20 assists game soon
