    The high variance in the Rockets offense. It allows teams to believe they still have a shot when they are down by 20 against us.

    I don't mind the shot selection nearly as much as the standing around when Harden or CP3 have the ball. I cannot stand this ISO, everyone else stand around, pass, ISO more, stand around more, offense. How is that good? Why isn't anyone moving off-ball when Harden or CP3 have the ball in their hands? Is no coach on this team capable of drawing up reasonable routes for each guy?

    Anderson went b2b.... awesome defense - biggest BRICK ever.

    Rockets with HUGE bricks tonight and are getting killed inside.

    Our effort is predicated on MAKING shots.

    Common trait for many teams, but less so for true contenders.

    Rockets will make a couple 2nd Half, then try harder.

    I swear that shows everything about this guy's mentality. And I've been thinking, let's assume Bzdelik is competent(VERY debatable), why the hell would they care about what he has to say over the guy who dictates minutes based upon offense? Stat lines bring paychecks. Luc Mbah a Moute is the lowest paid player on this team and its best defender.

    The whole coaching dynamic is unsustainable here on a fundamental level. Bzdelik is realistically a nobody with limited modern NBA experience anyway.

    The defense was supposed to be our secret weapon against the Warriors in a playoff series.

    We get swept without it. We have one more excuse before panic time and that is Luc coming back and somehow miraculously turning us into a top 15 defense again. Hope Luc is answer.

    No that’s bad defense. If we pounded the ball and didn’t play fast our offense would be worse. I get what you’re saying.. the pace we play at can make numbers deceiving especially ppg. Despite that, teams have confidence they can come back because nobody thinks we play d, and they’re being proven right

    Man this is so true. Our team, especially harden plays so much harder when making shots. And like you said this is common amongst most team but less extreme amongst good teams. This is why I said I don’t think harden is a choker but I do think he has some front runner syndrome

    No it's 100% because of the high variance in their 3 pt shots. Any team can get back from a 20 pt deficit when the Rockets offense bricks 8 straight ling range threes .
