Mine is just this picture centered on a black background. Bonus points to anybody who can identify it without checking the properties.

Well here's mine (and I'm surprised not mroe of you have it;)):

And here's another one on this computer. No, I'm not a flower guy or anything, but I took this shot with a digital camera just to see how it would come out. I was amazed at the quality. I'm no photographer; it was all the Camedia camera):

    Thanks, McFist. Also: I'm guessing you mean Winamp 3? I couldn't find a 5.

Those backgrounds look familiar. I use some cool ones from this place.

Ever checked them out? They look like the style you prefer. I use several from there.

...unfortunately, the site is down at the moment.:(

For the song ID in the taskbar.. This is in Winamp 5, using the Modern Skin. From the Main Window in normal mode, click on the arrow below Config. Hit the options tab, and on the left there should be a menu of sorts that says "Notifications". Click this and a whole bunch of options will come up.

If you need screenshots, ask me.

McFist, what's the best way to install those icons once you download them?

Applying icons to non-system programs is easier than applying them to system programs like My Computer and Recycle Bin (at least, to my knowledge).

First you download the icons and extract the file(s) anywhere. Right-click on the program you wish to replace the icon of, and go to Properties. Hit 'Change Icon', then Browse... Go to the folder where you extracted it and look for it (there should be little thumbnails next to the filename).

I don't think it's all that common, but some people release their icon sets in Icon Libraries instead of having each individual icon in a zip file. If so, just look for the *.icl file when browsing as in above, and open it. A box should come up with all the icons and you can just select one.

This is in WinXP, though I think the process is exactly the same. For replacing system icons, I downloaded a program calledIconPackager. Using that program, you can replace the icons of folders, icons for each file type, etc.
