I also have a feeling that Mobes is going to break out.

I am feeling optimistic about this game, since it is a home game. Let's go Rockets!

101-86 Rockets. Big Macs for all.

    :(

Wallace will have a field day on Cato and MoT. They'll have trouble chasing him around and getting in foul trouble.

Yao will start out good, then Portland will adjust with a double team on him, forcing turnovers.

Turnovers in this game will determine who wins.

    I hope i'm wrong!
    :D

" In the last nine games, the Rockets' 7-foot-5 center has averaged 19.1 points and 10.6 rebounds, and he has at least eight rebounds in each of the last 15 games. Against the Blazers, Yao led the Rockets with 21 points on 7 of 12 shooting and had nine rebounds. "

    Blazers: The week ahead

The last time Portland saw the Rockets, the game ended with Rasheed Wallace having to restrain Houston guard Cuttino Mobley, who was outraged by some things Qyntel Woods said near the end of the Blazers' 85-78 victory at the Rose Garden on Nov. 21. Woods was wrong to mouth off during a game in which the Blazers shot a season-low 34.1 percent from the field, and Mobley tried to let Woods know that he didn't appreciate whatever was said, so revenge could be a factor.

Key player: Yao Ming had 22 points and a career-high 20 rebounds in 40 minutes Saturday against Detroit. In the last nine games, the Rockets' 7-foot-5 center has averaged 19.1 points and 10.6 rebounds, and he has at least eight rebounds in each of the last 15 games. Against the Blazers, Yao led the Rockets with 21 points on 7 of 12 shooting and had nine rebounds.

    Last week (3-0):

Wed. vs. Jazz W 107-101 (OT) Fri. at Hornets W 83-74 Sat. vs. Pistons W 86-80

    Probable starters:

    F -- Kelvin Cato

    F -- Jim Jackson

    C -- Yao Ming

    G -- Cuttino Mobley

    G -- Steve Francis

    rox win by double digits

yao-with double teams scoring 20+ will have to come from the free throw line
expect cat steve or mo to step up the scoring

hopefully pike will open up the blazers D so yao can get open looks

I can't possibly explain it, but I miss the "whoo whoo - number one post".

I predict Rox win, because Rasheed Wallace inexplicably, does not play. Neither do Mobley or Cato. Hmm, I wonder what it means.

If sf can remember what he did last 3 games and remember that yao is on his team, then rockets win .....its all in steves hands...
don't care if he scores only 10 pts, just get everyone else involved and they will be happy and rockets will be a force this yr...steve keep on doing what you are doing and we'll love you...

    Possible Audio Link

    News Radio 750 KXL

It is the same link I posted the last time The Rockets played The Trail Blazers and I don't know if that worked or not. I forgot to check.

If anyone remembers, can you please post and let us know if it worked??? - Thanks

**********Remember, because of the NBA restrictions you may need to start listening to the link at least 30 minutes before the start of the game. If you do that it should not kick you off.**********
