Off topic but since when did Alan Dershowitz become Trump's mouthpiece? I remember he was a CNN regular, then one day he mentioned he attended Mar a Lago with his wife for an event as Trump's personal guest, and ever since became pro Trump. Literally night and day after going to Mar a Lago. I know he mentioned he was a registered Democrat. Interesting...

I wouldn't be surprised if Dershowitz is being paid by trump. After all, Dershowitz was on OJ SImpson's defense team. Criminal's money is just as green as anyone elses'... and I suspect the media attention and return to relevance is equally important to Dershowitz.

 

And his minions will be perfectly ok. Dictator wanna be. What a sad state of the republic, enabled by idiots.

 

Back on topic. We've reached a new stage in Trump's ever evolving defense strategy. Literally keeps in sync with the "Narcissist's Prayer"

• Russia wasn't involved
• Ok, Russia was involved, but our campaign has no connections to Russia
• Ok, we had connections to Russia, but no one did anything illegal
• Ok, some people did things that were illegal, but we didn't collude
• Even if we colluded, collusion is not a crime
• <================= We are here.
• Ok, we colluded, but nothing about it was criminal
• Ok, it was criminal, but you cannot indict a president
• Ok, you can indict a president, but I can pardon myself

 

Pretty much sums it up.

 

News that got passed over today was the news that the original funder of the infamous Dossier was in fact the primary donor to Devin Nunes... the GOP leader of the house investigation who has worked overtime to blow up his own investigation.


It all makes a little more sense every day and at the same time gets more and more bizzare.

 

As I've suspected from the very beginning of all of this, the case is largely one of money laundering, bribery, or some combination of the two. Just regular, run-of-the-mill organized criminal activity. Not completely surprising, actually, that it has reached the highest office...allowing indiscriminate amounts of money into elections from unidentified sources...I mean, nobody could have seen this coming, right?

And just exactly how effective can "campaign finance laws" be if they can't be enforced because they can generally be circumvented by another law (Citizens United) running parallel to them?

Mm.

This is loads of fun.

 

I have seen rumors that Mueller not only has Deustche bank records, but also another set of bank records that show payments from Russia to trump. If correct, this would be huge...

Wasn’t Trump supposed to fire Mueller? And Rosenstein? And Sessions? And some other people at the FBI?

I also thought we were supposed to get a Christmas “gift” from Mueller.

I thought Flynn was supposed to have “turned” on Trump.
