    Rockets Guard Steve Francis

    On the Rockets:
"We just have to take it one game at a time and I think the sky is the limit for this team. If we play like we played tonight, I don’t care who scores points, if we play like we played tonight with heart, despite their (Detroit’s) run near the end of the game, I think we’ll be in good shape."

:) so far he has talked the talk, but now he is starting to walk the walk. way to go Steve

R-Pimp, but if we can keep playing this well against the East and play just .500 ball again the West (very doable), we'll be looking about like this at the end of the year:

Current Record vs. Eastern Conference 25-5
Current Record vs. Western Conference 26-26

    Overall record: 51-31

Even in the West, that'll get us into the playoffs.

I haven't forgotten either, but if you're complaining about the Rockets' play, then the Spurs are playing like total crap...i've seen them play twice only this year, but each time they sucked so bad i was glad i wasn't a Spurs fan...As for the Puppies, i believe we're better...even with Cassell playing for them...

People write what they want to say or browse what they like from this forum. You like to know information about Rocket. Someone likes to talk about Yao. Others like to talk about Steve. These are your and their choices because this is a real BBS supposed to function, i.e. Clutchcity.net.

Are u a God, an Asian God? Don't declare your identity as an asian. It is not a ground to support your statement. When we don't follow your suit, we must kiss your ass? Too simple and naive.

Have you ever trying to find something on the Internet but where ever you go, you only see pop ups!!! And pop ups....and pop ups! That's how I feel sometimes. There are basically posts regarding Yao Ming's pictures, Yao Ming's personal life. If I wanted that, I would have visited a Yao Ming's web site.

I am NOT a God! Are you too ******* stupid to understand the underline of my post? ASIAN!!! That's the underline. I wanted to make a point to Texas Stroke that I, an Asian who gives no CRAP about Yao Ming, support him.

Go to where you like to go. Stop surfing the sites you feel disgusted. That's the point. Talk longer and longer does not mean you are right.

From reading the postgame quotes of the Piston players and Larry Brown, the recurring theme that seems to keep popping up is Yao.

Larry Brown: "Yao is a tremendous player and he had a great game. Houston did a great job and they kept us outside and that was the key to the game. This (Houston) is a very good team and you have to play your best to win."

    Pistons Center Elden Campbell

    On defending Yao Ming:
"He played well and he was hitting his shots. I had him where I wanted him, outside, but he was just shooting over me. You get good position on him and then he was hitting shots over me. He got the best of me tonight."

On the difference in the Rockets this year:
"The big difference is Yao and Cato are playing really well and with Taylor added to the front line, they are a better team. They are more deliberate but they still punch it inside. Last year I thought they would play this way but it just didn’t happen."

    Pistons Forward Ben Wallace

    On Yao Ming:
"Yao Ming had a great game. A 20-20 ( 20 points, 20 rebounds) is as good as it gets in the NBA."

    Pistons Guard Richard Hamilton

On the key to the game:
"Houston got out on top early and they were making their shots. Yao dictated the game on both ends of the court. He has definitely improved and he’s adjusted and did a great job."

    Pistons Guard Chauncey Billups

    On the Rockets play:
"Houston is a lot better (this season). They are playing defense and that is what they lacked last year. They have great talent with the big kid (Yao Ming) and Stevie (Francis) and Cuttino (Mobley). Houston will be a team to watch out for."
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yao definately made a big impact on the game. Honestly, if not for all those rebounds - we would not have came out on top. They would have won the game with their FTs.

The Pistons made 24-34 of their Free Throws (73.5%)
    The Rockets made 8-15 (53.3%)

The Pistons had 19 more FT attempts than the Rockets and shot a higher percentage than we did.
