then why the fook people are so delusional about Harden on this board? I call out Harden's obvious weaknesses because if he doesn't correct those we ain't going nowhere. People always talk **** about Ryno when he's a non factor; this team goes as far as Harden goes, simple as that. Why are some people still coddling this guy? IF Harden is not as great as we think he is, then our whole team's potential is limited

Harden is basically the only superstar that MUST be PERFECT.

his margin of error on this team is minimal
Harden also follows a great Rocket Tradition as being the MOST HARDEST OFFICIATED PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE
    Hakeem . . . Yao . . .now Harden
All were hacked pushed and it was allowed because of their skills
The Refs simply look the other way, alot of non calls, etc . . . .

Harden may get 10 free throws a game but alot of times it should be 20+

    Look at that Box Score:
Harden - 34/ 10/6 8-TOs (at least two of which were bullshit calls) -39 minutes
    Ego - 24/3/3 - 40 minutes

    EVERYONE ELSE?
    Anderson - 9/8/1 - 40 minutes
    Ariza - 11/6/0 - 39 minutes
    NeNe - 10/4/0 (4 rebounds? Really?) 19 minutes
    Black - 3/3/1
    Tucker - 3/9/0 - 25 minutes
    Weber - 4/3/1
    Green - 0/1/0

Tucker's defense seems to be faultering too
how many passes that should have been assists were blown?

But yea. . . . it is all on Harden

Actually Smart didn't flop. You guys have to stop calling everything a flop. He actually slipped and his feet went out from under him. you can see it if you watch his feet. He just slipped and it looked like an offensive foul.

a good portion of those missed shots and turnovers were harden being careless, trying to show up kyrie, and just missing shots. and at least 10 of those missed shots and turnovers were from getting hacked 94 feet and brothers accidentally not seeing anything.

When you constantly ref bait, like he literally did against Horford just before, let's be objective here, you're just not going to be getting the benefit of the doubt any more. Live by ref baiting die by ref baiting.

Again if Harden were on a rival team and never played for the Rockets, no way are fans here going to like Harden's game.

no because you are kinda obnoxious about it. James Harden doesn't need to correct anything because that's who he is. He's definitely not as great as people rate him to be.

Harden is the best we can get, once in a gen player, but he has his flaws, but in this league championships are won these days by stacking 3 - 4 all stars on one team. You add Durant or even Green on this team we win the championship. Harden will not carry this team by himself whether or not he corrects his ways. Just have to accept it and add more pieces.

Every superstar is flawed in someway, Harden's flaws makes me wanna punch him sometimes, but his highs are unbelievably high.

Harden's lack of athleticism is really starting to affect his game. His drive to the basket is not as good anymore, which is why he's settling for more threes. His off ball movement is probably the worst that I've seen, and generally moves around really slow and sluggish. Because of this physical limitation, he's helpless when double-teamed and becomes a turnover machine.

Harden plays above his natural potential by getting to the line a lot (which always blows back on him late in games), but it's clear that those are not enough. Despite his current numbers, I actually think Harden's game is declining and is much less dynamic than say 14-15 season.

Moving on from Harden is not as a crazy idea as people think it is. It's just a matter of who we get in return.

When harden drives through the lane and they don’t call fouls it also counts as a turnover

Whats sad from the 8 tos...2 were late bs calls. And 4 happened in the span of 3min in the 3rd, but still MDA didnt call a TO until 2 min after those TOs when our lead was cut to 13. You see sloppy play and a lead from 25 to 18....its an easy TO man. He always waits until our lead is literally cut in HALF to call his TOs. Iam 100 percent sure thats what he does hes done it more than 5 times this year.

I feel like he's played with more poise down the stretch with CP3 on the court. I think that was always the hope -- but CP3 has to be available to play for there to be any benefit, obviously.

With CP3 . . .there are 2 options to inbound too
    Two Offensive Options

As much as Ego is . . . he is not CP3
My confidence in anyone NOT NAMED HARDEN or CP3 is low

Agree. It sounds crazy to say, but I do agree w/ the sentiment out there that we need a 3rd creator. EG has been subpotimal in that capacity.

Harden's problem is the same for any O-only player. Since defense can't be relied upon, the offense MUST be good. James is great offensively, so it works most nights. Unfortunately, he hasn't shown much clutch-ability overall, so late games and playoffs have been a struggle.
