Um......Outkast (individually) is still making Music. That is Big Boi' song "All Night" in that Apple Commercial. Catchy as hell. The problem with Triplet.....is that is not good. Great Hip Hop songs will have everyone dances no matter what the year. Triplet is CRAP. There is a reason Drake is still selling more than all of them......his style is his own.
Ive never even heard her voice. And I agree with every negative comment said. You can just "tell" when the simplistic consumers are propping up something dumb. And I've ALWAYS APOLOGIZED for current music, I'm no music snob at all. Its just that same rap/ r&b sounding of of soft slow sounding electronic beat, and rapping/singing sounding likes its inside a hollow chamber mumbling like its a "sensitive" element, like its some new hood-alternative. That one song by Desiigner is the WORST.
That Gucci gang beat us good, the Joyner remix was nice But I agree, new music across all genres has gone to ****
While I agree that most of rap has gone to **** and I’m not a fan of mumble rap but I think Migos are definitely the best of the lot and about 80% of the time you can count on them to deliver a banger... the real problem is the people that just try and piggy back on that. As far as Cardi B goes Bodak Yellow is catchy and enjoy hearing a women that isn’t afraid to rap like a man as far as sexually... all the best have been able to go to edge, like Missy, S and P, he’ll Nicki is pretty damn talented and has had a great career. While Cardi is not a great rapper I’m not here to hate and I ain’t mad at her for carving out a spot in the game. Just listen to what you like go to Kendrick or Cole if you want real hip hop.
She's got some videos on the net of her working a pole. I HEAR it's pretty decent. Yeah her music is pretty bad but who cares? Not often a girl can go stripper to #1 song on the radio, good for her.
Listening to some of this crap makes me very thankful that there are scientists and engineers out there furthering society. I suppose dumb/shallow people need a form of entertainment.
Jesus, you guys... You all realize your mom was saying the same **** about your music about 20 years ago. Cause you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad. It isn't really my cup-o-tea either, but it's easy enough to avoid if you want to. Relax... Live and let live... Like my man Chappelle says, "Some people think cucumbers taste better pickled!"
I don't know what triplet means in this context and I wouldn't know Cardi B if she was standing right in front of me. But I will send prayers to those of you affected by these things. Keep your heads up, fellas. It'll be alright.
The internet has become trite at a truly epic level. You can dislike something without being "affected" by it. I told my son's mom the same thing recently when she was concerned that I showed my son some Ghost BC music videos. She calmed down later and I told her she might be getting a little old, comparing concern over a rock band like Ghost to Marilyn Manson and Black Sabbath. The thing is though this is not about getting "old" There has always been awful music. Is it impossible for an older person to call out something for being crap?
