We match up pretty badly against OKC. They are number one in steals and they are a great defensive team. Robertson and George both give us a lot of trouble.

We are not physical enough on the boards against their bigs. Clint on his own isn’t going to cut it.

Injuries are hitting us hard and you can tell harden is tired because he has to do everything himself again. Teams like OKC with great defender can just trap harden and we don’t have anyone who can creat and facilitate offense with cp3 being out.

The winning streak seems so far away from us now it’s actually sad to admit. We were so hot when we have harden and Paul both healthy and that’s a huge difference.

We keep saying we can still get better and I know that’s true. But the question is how do we comprehend situations like these when Paul is out for a period of time. We all know unfortunately he won’t stay healthy for too long but we still want to win as much as we can in regular season for better seeds.

Harden can win games for us by himself against some teams but that’s not sustainable. Without Paul and luc we are worse than last years team imo.

P.S. Hubie Brown sucks donkey balls

If there was ever a thing called a "good loss", that was it.
I was very impressed how the team handled OKC in its best offensive and defensive game of the season.
Its really as best as they gonna get with Westbrook leading this group.
We handled them well most of the time, without Paul and Luc.
Actually made me feel more comfortable about meeting them in the playoffs (finger crossed everyone will be ready to go in the playoofs, we will need all hands on deck).

ashleyem was right the whole time, we suck now guys

but seriously OKC is a shitty team to play, we actually do need a full squad aagainst them, they are really physical and grind us down

Too bad we will never see a healthy 8 men rotation in the playoffs unless we are really really lucky. I wish Playoffs were last month

    Appreciate it mate...

I was busy with work and a bad injury from a car accident.
Short rotation kills us when we have injuries. It puts a massive amount of pressure on the guys in the rotation, and as history has shown, it brings in more injures, wear and tear and the late game fatigue that we’ve seen of late.

    But he’s a great coach.

morey traded all of our assests for an injury prone past his prime.. playing in a contract year( just like Nene did last year) 6 foot nothing guard

lou williams would have helped tonight.. i know that

the next biggest mistake is the give cp3 a 5 year 200 million dollar deal, and cp3 wll probably be healthy in 50% of that lifetime contract if we are lucky

I actually think this is great experience for Weber. He’s got potential out there; the game’s still a little too fast for him but the defense is there.

I thought Weber played well. All we need from him is effort and hustle. I thought he brought that.

Come back soon and be well, Luc and CP3.

Agreed but ideally Morey would find a way to give the team additional depth... Teams like the Spurs and Warriors can weather injuries and still be fine, the Rockets can't

Am I the only one who thought Harden was great. Did about as well as you can expect against the best defensive team in the NBA. Faced Roberson/PG all night & was constantly being trapped/double teamed on every possession. 7/18 is misleading since many of those shots were bailouts & he didn't turn the ball over at all.

Letting all 3 of Melo/PG/Russ go off essentially cost us the game.

I don't really get why some guys are mad at Weber, he wasn't even one of the worst out there tonight, he's a g-league guy who gave his best playing good defense and not making dumb decisions hurting the team...meh.

James was ok, not great but not bad either, like you said he had Robeson, PG guarding him, trapped most of times...we really missed CP3 in this game i think.

This game wasn't on Harden even though I wish he took a better shot there at the end. It was on Gordon, PJ, Ryno all playing shitty.

That was the team they envisioned when they made the trades. But with CP running the bench. Unity we would have won easily tonight

The loss in a vacuum isn't a big deal, but it's fair to be concerned about the team as a whole, coming off two really, really bad losses to bad teams at home you want to see them come out with a better effort than this.

Specifically, I'm concerned about our defense, which has been absolute trash for a couple of weeks now, and showing no signs of improvement.
