With all of the hoop-la around the BCS, I guess I'm the only person that really likes the bowl system and some of the matcups that the minor bowls produce. What do you guys think the best non-BCS bowl game matchup is? For me, it is TCU vs. Boise State, you've got two minor conference one loss teams and we'll get to see who the big boy of non-BCS schools is. I think there will be a lot of offense in the game as Boise State will try to air it out. TCU will probably still be sulking over their loss to Southern Miss and will get blown out.
I'll go with the Capital One Bowl which is Georgia versus Purdue. I think that will be a close game to the end. Im also pumped for TCU and Boise state
I pick Texas Tech vs. Navy in the EV1.net bowl. Two vastly opposing offensive philosophies duking it out. I would love to get tickets to this one.
Minnesota/Oregon Wisconsin/Auburn Fresno State/UCLA (cause they both played OU this year) Va Tech/Cal
UT vs WSU? #5 vs like 15 or 12. pretty good. if not that then i guess UGA vs purdue would be the other highest ranking matchup. though i will say it was tight to see the best rushing attack vs the best passing attack get lined up and have two one loss mid majors playing each other. can you imagine how happy the Ft. Worth Bowl has to be? the hometown team plus an exciting to watch 12-1 Boise State? how much better could it ever get for them.
Best bowl ever, the sun the bikinis. One big Cougar party - Word PhiSlammaJamma. Enjoy the Ft. Worth bowl TCU
