Tarik Black was ok with us when we first had him, and he was decent for the Lakers.

What the hell happened? I swear he shrunk 3 inches and is now complete trash.

I remmeber Harel and Dekker were okay when they got the time, so maybe Black, Zhou cheese can contribute with minutes

    Mike has no choice.

One of the three point duds (Brown, Weber, Jackson) and either Zhou or Williams are going to have to join the rotation.

I dont think he is that bad, MDA has him on a very short leash. If he does anything wrong, he wont let him play himself out of it.

4 out of those 5 should be waived. Can’t believe we can’t sign 2 vet free agents to just have. Give me anyone.

Stop with the Zhou fascination. Dude is barely learning his way around Galleria Mall. He’s not ready to play big minutes.

Curry, Green, KD, Zaza, Livingston and AI all have miss time this season. And some of them are still missing.
And the starters are NOT playing heavy minutes, most of the bench players are playing 20+ minutes.

Nobody who substitutes too well for following guys.

    CP3
    Capela
    EGo (if injured)
and of course you can't replace Harden.

We may have a great record, but if our key players are run down, we'll be out in heartbeat. . . I'd like to think that our current record dictates that we roll the dice and go all in this year. We may not have a chance to compete for the 1-seed every year, simply because injuries to stars happen.

There is a bit of a perfect storm moment for the end of the Rockets bench as 3 of those guys are "injured." Troy has been out for a while (mysteriously, I might add--zero explanation). Onuaku apparently hurt his wrist (or that's what I read). Qi has been out but played a little the other night with the G-League. I

t seems like we need to make a decision how to develop Qi. MDA has talked like he wants him with the big team, but he won't give him consistent minutes. Qi looks too green to me, but perfect for full-time on the Vipers. Make a decision, please.

I think we need a punch of athleticism at the wing/forward (even when Luc A Moute comes back), and if Troy Williams isn't the right fit--I say, move on. This new addition either needs to be an upgrade for Anderson (which would be ideal) or a veteran forward who can come in when the matchups are just right. I think our guard play will be fine when Luc is back (baring a major injury to Harden or CP3).

You need a player like Black when you play Milwaukee and they are dead set on going to the rim. Against the Lakers, Black can't match up (unless they are playing Bogut). What's needed is a forward with more athleticism than Ariza and Tucker. They simply can't cover people and offer any kind of rim protection. Plus, we all saw Larry Nance Jr. on the glass. He simply a pogo stick compared to Anderson, Harden, Ariza, and Tucker. Everything has to be perfect for them to block out one guy like that. And the Lakers were throwing Kuzma, Nance, and Ingram.

All of this wouldn't look so bad if Clint wasn't hurt. But with him down, we really start scrambling to find bodies.

I'm hoping we make a move sooner rather than later because these next 2 or 3 weeks are going to make or break having the 1-seed and an easier route to a championship.
