    If i was clint, i would try to get as much money as possible. He is young and hasnt gotten a legit contract yet. Someone his age coming off a rookie contract will never take a paycut.

    Capella is better, younger - any contract that he gets is great value... Dandre is like D12 no thank you

    Why? If the Rockets offer the same total amount over the life of the contract, he'd lose nothing financially. The money is guaranteed.

    Nope what he does is make a very broad statement that could happen. He has no sources and never did. Deandre is from Houston of fking course he would want to come here especially if the team is the best in the league. Sorry the truth hurts.

    DeAndre Jordan has a player option for $24M in 2018-19 season. He is not going to opt out of that and sign a 4-year MLE, which is about $26M.

    How much of a discount and do we really want to watch another center that cannot hit free throws muck up the offense in the 4th quarter.

    Of course this is weighted against how much do we really have to pay Capela.

    I could be wrong but don't think Capela is eligible for a "poison" contract. He was a 1st round pick. Parsons was a 2nd round pick & Lin was undrafted. @BimaThug
