Just stop b****ing and schooling here.

Can we just relax and enjoy the game? Guys, this team is just starting to play real basketball.

I don't care whose fan you are as long as you are not b****ing and and bothering other fans here.

LOL!!! Gotta love it! Jeff Van Gundy, the master-mind politician, physiologist, coach.

He can't let the Rockets feel too *good* about themselves, else they'll start playing soft. They've done it in the past: "Think they are better than they really are..."

Keep your head on straight, guys! AN EVEN KEEL.

I think a large part of the lower bowl seats were bought buy corporations and businesses, and though they are sold, they show up empty because those purchased season tickets are sitting pretty in a lot of offices around Houston. i dont know, I could be wrong.

Amen to that Superpro. Just watch the games, they're GAMES. If Yao screws up, it dont mean that SF or Cat is the reason, and if Houston loses a game it dont mean that suddenly its status as a city has somehow been diminished. This thread is a joke, a great win for the team, and everyone gotta go and b**** about "Yao-only" fans and "Chinese Pride", or run their mouths about SF or Cat. Newsflash, not everyone needs the team or a certain player to do well to feel better about their lives. So just shut up and watch and enjoy. Clutch should make this forum available only once a week so that we dont have to hear all you pinheads who live a lifetime a day.

David, my post was directed at both sides of the spectrum cuz I'm tired of hearing the same arguments every fugging game. That Chinese pride comment didn't sit too well with me, but I ain't saying nothing about it cuz its r****ded to talk about something that heavy in a BBS devoted to basketball. I watch basketball and play it to get away from the b.s. in life, ie. racism, girls, work, etc. When I come on the forums, I expect to hear basketball talk, not whiny brats pointing fingers at each other aobut why Yao is ognna suck ass in 3 years and why Cat and SF are cancers. I wish everyone would just shut the hell up and enjoy watching this team develop its chemistry and come into its own. This aint about Pro-Yao OR Anti-Yao or Pro-SF or Anti-SF, it's about basketball, I just wish everyone would stick to the topic once in a while. I'm sure I ain't the first to feel this way after seeing all the hatin going down on this board.

    DavidS,
I really enjoy reading posts here which have a lot of intelligent thoughts, and have never said in here that "Yao is great or the greatest" and tried to convince anyone to believe it. I just can not stand that somebody jumping out and declaring problem with those Yao-only funs and hurt their feelings. I know maybe they a little irritating, but they don't mean to hurt anyone.

Maybe their basketball "language" are not that good. But I hope you can understand they won't bother coming here if they doesn't love basketball.

The problem is that some of those people are very very annoying and would be an embarassment to Yao if he ever read some of the sh*t that they post. The problem is when everyone gets put in the same category as those few rotten apples, and creates the current moronic "debates" that we see nowadays

BTW just for you DavidS ;)

I believe that Yao should be the centerpiece of the team offensively in a couple of years if he continues on his current pace of development because histroically, with the exception of the Jordan years, championships are built on dominant big men. You win regular season games with guards but championships with big men. I would like to see SF move to the 2 spot and trade for or draft a big PG in the mold of Antonio Daniels or Jamal Crawford. I am a serious believer in SF's abilities, and think he should be given free reign in the offense without being hamstrung by the PG duties since he's not really a PG minded guy. All the things that people complain about SF is because he's playing out of position. I'd like to retain Cat and move him to the bench where his energy and no fear mentality would be an excellent weapon. I also believe that the Rox main problem on offense is their lack of spacing, too often I see 3 Rox occupying the same wing while making an entry pass. And last but not least, I think JVG needs a sort of an offensive coordinator, maybe try to lure Pete Carrill or someone similar to teach the players about proper spacing, cuts and other basics that for whatever reason JVG's teams just never seem to know. With that said, I'm out for the night.

    Peace

I hear ya. But his had to be brought up. Texas Stoke was being ganged up on. And the issues that irritate you were going to come up sooner or later in other threads. As they have in the last few weeks (during the losing streak).

Just wait until the next one.

By the way, this should NOT happen -> "shut the hell up" The most boring BBS is one that everyone agrees with each other. ;) Diving into "touchy" topics is a way to get people to understand.

As yueyue33 post above is proof of that...

Uh I enjoyed tonights gaem immensely, notice I said a great win. What I didnt enjoy was the stuff on this forum afterwards. I was agreeing with you to tell everyone to stop b****ing and enjoy the Rox team instead of complaining about every single little thing. I don't understand how you came to your conclusion that yo posted, but I guess I was as clear as I thought
