We waited long enough for it. Its about time for JVG to get his team playing the Team Game.We all know that it had to come if Steve Francis was to continue his career with the Rockets.Well done Rockets!

To keep the future bright, our players need to draw a few things from this game:
Steve: Your teammates can score if you get them the ball.
Yao: Mixing it up in the paint is worth it to the tune of 20/20.
Cato: Keep dunking, not shooting Js and you can lead the league in FG%.
Rest of team: Play hard and within your role sound Steve and Yao, and this team can really be something BIG!

We can only acquire the vision and foresight of Nostradamus's magic 8ball after a win in which our players have ideal stats.

    Call me now.

Likewise with Yao. If he didn't start banging for rebounds and sacrificing the body to play the TEAM GAME, he would have been history.

Yep. The trade rumors were really flying about Yao. I'm surprised the Rockets haven't pulled a Keyshawn on him for his lack of effort on the boards.

Yao has excuse: it's his 2nd year, anyway.
U will not say a 2nd year player with good statistics to be put in the history list for some loss games.

Now that we've seen what they're capable of, I shudder to imagine the "constructive criticism" on this board when the Rockets have one of their regression spells. ;)

But so what? Until Tuesday at least, the Rockets are the illest team in the league.

To say Yao not playing team game is a joke. Yao is always a TEAM PLAYER, no matter what team he plays for. Use your brain before posting.

Nomar didn't say Yao wasn't a team player. He said that if he didn't learn to play the post strong, bang and get rebounds, his value and worth to the team would probably continue to drop.

Learn to understand a post before you bash it.

Just imagine what will happen if Steve still score 20 to go with his 11 assists. Trust me, he can do that easily if his hands are hot but mind is cool. Cat & Cato have been great contributors this year. There is quite a chance Rockets will go the playoff this year. And next year we will use our first round pick to draft L. James' brother, R. James, arh.. we will be the champion!:D

I Start to feel the Yao-haters are just as annoy as the Yao-only.

Why you have to bring up YAO when someone made a comment about Francis? Pathetic!

Try using your brain before posting I'm pretty sure Nomar was joking around.

What's pathetic is anyone giving this thread getting 4 stars and anyone daring to play the Yao-hater card when the true term is YOF-hater. :D
