Not true, some teams use a jersey they already had or just threw something together and call it a CITY jersey. Spurs use the camouflaged one again, oh my...at least we don't have the worst. Les probably didn't want to change since he was gonna sell the team and wanted to let it up to the new owner to change uniforms IMO although our "city" uniform is definitely weak

I can confirm that the Chinese Version of Rockets jersey will be the “City” edition. Been to Taiwan Nike store outlet and saw the Chinese Version being sold as the “City” Edition.
Completely dumb and ugly. How the f' is the rockets "City" jersey a Chinese one? On what planet does that make sense?? They should hire whoever designed the Miami Vice style Heat City jersey to completely revamp the Rockets brand. That design is so on point.
That's all on Les. It takes two years to get approval for a new jersey so I'm thinking Les just didn't want to make any changes until we got a new owner. If only we could come out with something like this: with a new logo but keep the space theme and maybe get a nasa logo.
Hahaha. No doubt. That is a step in the wrong direction. Anyway, are there any other teams in the league that have Chinese written all over their arenas? Are Rockets players benefitting from the Chinese connection? Will Tilman erase all of that and write Landry's everywhere? Maybe he will change our logo to make the "R" look like a shrimp. Even better would be a Chinese shrimp in space.
