Their strengths, with the big men, are not our strengths. This is one of the teams that the Rockets could lose to and not feel terrible- they're not a bad team. They're actually a good team. I'm not saying we shouldn't beat them. We should. But "huge problems" and "we don't deserve the #1 seed"? Absurd contentions. Even a loss to NO doesn't say we're not adequately prepared compared w/ the Spurs. Every team, incl. the Warriors and Spurs, have lost to teams with worse records than them. I don’t disagree. We have been winning a lot lately and dropping a game here and there is nothing new. We won’t go 78-4. But i disagree about pels being a tough matchup for us. They are just not good. Davis and Cousins can win the games by talent against lesser teams but they haven’t beaten a legitimate team in quite a while
They gave the warriors a run for their money recently. They were up 20 at halftime and had a chance to win in the 4th. I would never sleep on a likely western conference playoff team.
in this era of superteams, you need as much superstars and scoring help/support as you can GSW can with without KD or Steph Boston can win without Hayward Cleveland can win without IT Spurs can win without Kawhi that means they are contender material and their rosters are balanced and coach is utilizing his bench and everyone ready to compete if we want to compete with the likes of those teams then cp3, ego, ryno need to average around 20 pts a game and ready to step up close to 30 points when needed can't rely on Harden's 40+ points to drag this team to a win night in and night out all I'm saying is if harden is not 120% then sit him let this game be a uage how good this rockets "team" is if the only hope for this team is harden, then we're not truly contenders coz in the playoffs teams will double/triple team, by physical, beat and wear down harden like last year
