http://politicalcompass.org/ take the test, find out where you really stand. My results: Economic Left/Right: 0.25 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.69 this means economically, i'm damn near dead center, while i tend towards the libertarian on social issues.
I don't feel like taking it again, but last time I got -6 on the Authoritarian/Libertarian scale and +6 on the Left/Right scale.
Economic Left/Right: -1.00 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.90 Many of the questions are too vague, interesting stuff anyway.
I can't vouch for accuracy, but it was fun. Economic Left/Right: -7.25 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.56
Economic Left/Right: -3.25 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.59 Some of the questions are misleading. For example, there's a big difference between acknowledging the advantages of a one-party state and approving it. IMHO, it's a given that a one-party state is more efficient, but the real question is whether or not that efficiency outweighs the dangers of tyranny. Still fun to a degree.
