I mean, but you're all about the greater good here. You're the one who wants to inject chemo into the government at large. If the little guy isn't going to roll over on the big guy without a deal, then the big guy walks. The big guy then replaces the little guy with another little guy and becomes equally as bad as he once was. The greater good is to take down the big guy.
Again, we see that, but Repuglicans don't. They will vote with anyone with an R next to his/her name after the primaries. If Ryan looks like a hero against a corrupt businessman turned reality tv star turned corrupt president that could jet him through the primaries. I don't like Ryan, but I understand the appeal.
You want Trump to act presidential and as a candidate, he tried to fix a problem by reaching out to superpower to fix the problem not to collude with them to win an election. At least as of right now we still have no proof.
