If you think Hillary is evil and think Trump is not that bad you have no clue what Sander stood for

Good to know that you can be convinced of something without knowing the facts and details.

It is quite literally NOT the dictionary definition of the word insanity.

Ugh... I think Trump is bad but in a way I prefer. Hilary is evil but wouldn't do what I would prefer. All of this after Bernie was robbed of course because that was what I preferred as plan a.

hilary's evil is hidden which makes it worse. the way democrats treat blacks, tell them sweet nothings but behind the scenes passing legislature that decimates generations. repubs are at least open about their swindling and give reasons (agree or not) for their position. dems give reasons but then from behind your back slash your neck. that's facking evil.

let's keep talking about a word/definition instead of my point which is i'd rather see different than same especially since same got us here to begin with. i can't wait for which word you will pick out and over analyze as you ignore my point. you're an amazing debater.

I think a lot of people wanted something different. The only thing is when the 'different' ends up being far worse than the old same, only some folks are willing to make excuses for the 'different'. Only some people will defend the 'different's' choices even when they are irrational, hateful, dangerous, and ignorant.

i understand your point but i think different is better even if worse because of the potential to reset the system if you will. at the end of the day we don't have to agree on that. like i said, the two parties have had how long to move this country forward, each taking turns, and they've giving us an oligarchy from which they have enormous personal benefit while the people get nothing but broken promises.

@ipaman has somehow managed to upstage Donald Trump. I don't know if that's ever been done before. In a thread dedicated to the dangerous stupidity of the President, ipa has made the conversation about himself.

    Edit: Forgot my ;)

The weird thing... Trump supporters seem to believe that those of us that oppose Trump as being "triggered" and emotionally objecting to him and the offensive things he says and does. Yet it really appears that Trump supporters are the ones losing it, just looking at how a few post now.

To be fair, don't know if it is these tweets are other Trump tweets that the State department is referring to, but... anyone that still defends the Idiot in Chief's tweet habit can now see the danger he causes...

Exactly. It’s a dog chasing his tail trying to come up with scenarios where Trump is good for this country. Unless in fact he is referring to Trump being so decimating that the generations after this are going to vote for a candidate that will create universal healthcare, nation wide mar1juana legalization, caps on CEO salaries etc. you already have things like gay marriage being legalized.

I have a feeling that’s not what he meant.

The beginning of Trump's efforts to claim he didn't have anything to do with the tweet catastrophe he caused...

never said that and don't think he is "good" for the country. again you guys don't listen. he's bad for the country but so was everyone else. at least this bad guy causes a ruckus and that (the ruckus) is what i think could be a good thing as i've stated many times now.

My wife has an older relative who believes everything she reads on the internet, and shares it without checking sources or anything, if it fits her political leanings.

Trump is like that. An old guy who - weirdly - seems to have too much time on his hands, and doesn't understand how the internet works.

If the allegedly equally as bad candidate won, would we

    1. Be witnessing the end of net neutrality?
    2. have a tax bill passed that shifts wealth to a group of humans that already have the most wealth in man kind history and adds 1.8 trillion to the deficit over the next 10 years
    3. Have the largest influx of right wing judges appointed with life long appointments?

You are a joke and falling for the simpleton argument if "they are all equally bad!".

He's everyone's fat uncle who just regurgitates Fox News talking points. That's our president.

I will say it over and over again for the next 3 years. This is not a Republican or conservative thing. I voted for Bush and wouldn't have any problem doing so again. I actually have several conservative beliefs (e.g. expansion of 2nd Amendment rights in certain areas, balancing the budget - and BTW, I truly hate fundamentalist Islam designed to oppress women) as well as my obvious leftist leanings.

Trump is beyond all that. He's a despicable human being. And someone who I don't trust at all to make smart decisions. If he ran as a Democrat, I'd disown him, too, just I had to disown one of my all-time favorite actors Kevin Spacey. Sucks, but it is what it is.

Anyway, it's just getting old responding to every stupid thing Trump says or does. I'm taking a break from it. The holidays don't need to be tainted by reacting to his incompetence.

Trump is just the symptom of what is wrong with the country at this moment, he is not the cause.
