    Yeah you are.

You said that the Warriors likely wouldn't deal Thompson for Harden and then doubled down stating that they wouldn't deal Green for Harden.

I think you're insane if you think the Warriors would trade Draymond Green for James Harden.
Aside from weakening the Rockets, why would they do this?
How does it make them better short term or long term?

If you ACTUALLY WANT TO HAVE A REASONED DEBATE about it, provide some reasoning.

You HAVEN'T done this at all. You resort to childish tactics.

What absurd qualifiers have I used? Why are redditors positions bizarre, but your one image responses apparently all that?

@heypartner said: "Hope you’re not making this Harden would ruin GSW’s winning ways argument"
That's not what I said as you so rightly point out in your own post.

So no, according the the english language, that's not what I'm saying.

Why would the Warriors hold onto Klay? We're talking about a 30+ PER guy vs. a 18 PER guy. The contracts wouldn't be a good trade, but quality wise it would be great for them and horrible for us. Klay just lost to the Sacramento Kings without his creators Durant and Curry to save the day. Dude is overrated but a good fit for them at full strength. His defense is good, but not nearly good enough to win games. He's soft. Harden isn't. That's why they'd do it in a heartbeat and we'd laugh our ****ing heads off at the offer.

What does Klay vs. Harden defensively have to do with a hypothetical switch of Draymond Green and James Harden and how it impacts the Warriors defense?

Well look, first of all, I said, as I've repeated many times, Harden is clearly the way better player. But a team can't operate in a vacuum. Obviously any team would just keep adding top 10 players if they could.

i laid out the case previously...

    - Klay ok as #3/#4 offensive option
    - Klay getting paid less, probably will ultimately take a slight discount
    - Klay, at least historically, is an A defender
    - They're completely different kinds of players
    - You can't build teams in vacuums, ignoring cap, chemistry and fit

this is a team that is already one of the greatest of all time and opened the season as the biggest betting favorite in any sport ever.

it doesn't mean they are guaranteed a ring, but those are some of the reasons its not an obvious immediate thing the warriors would do.

Wow, you really do struggle at reading comprehension.

Go back and see what post you were responding to.

Threads don't follow their titles to a "t" basically ever.

This. Put in Ariza instead of Klay, and Trevor would look like a borderline All-Star shooting at 40-45% from three. Mentioning Klay in the same sentence as James is disrespectful.

Um, you're derailing by jumping in with random non-sequiturs.

    then for some reason, you...

Which I assumed you meant which team was better defensively now. Rockets or Warriors. I'm guessing now it means you were asking whether Harden or Klay are better now, PROBABLY because as I've noted many times, you don't actually read context and instead just reply to people with the first thought that pops in your head, and though the conversation you were replying to was about Klay, when it was about Dray.

    ---

Oh, and Harden has been better statistically on defense this year than Klay. If it holds up... freaking GREAT!!
I've noted many times in this thread Harden is a much better player than Klay... so ... yeah ...

so what will be the reason for GSW to pass up the chance to trade for Harden and keep Reddick er Klay instead?

To put an end to this argument for all times: Did anyone watch Klay not be able to carry the Warriors over the Kings the other night? That would never happen with Harden. Curry and Durant were out but he still had Draymond. They should have won. Harden is on a whole other level.

Done responding to you. As I've pointed out many times over, you have problems with reading comprehension and context and like to attribute quotes to other posters that aren't what they said and are non-sequiturs.... as you've done even with the above that I've quoted

If I was you, I'd respond with something stupid like

What does JJ Reddick have to do with a thread titled Harden vs Klay

    anyway, done responding to you...
