well i want some new games for my X box and im thinking about buying nfl fever, counter strike. but im leaning towards fever right now since i hardly play 1st person shooters. Well anyone with some game ideas post them on this thread. thanks.
I'm picking up Deus Ex: Invisible War tomorrow. I've been thinking of picking up Counterstrike for xbox live gameplay. Rainbow Six 3 is a squad based shooter which is supposed to be good but I have passed on it to date. Check out Project Gotham Racing 2 if you want a xbox live racing game. Again, I have passed on this one to date...lol. The problem with me is I have too many games that I don't play. I just now started playing NFL Fever 2002 . I chose the Cowboys for a dynasty season. We are like 6-0 on the "All Veteran" level. That's just too pathetically easy if I'm 6-0 as the Cowboys! My Quincy Carter and Emmitt Smith have been breaking records. Well, my Emmitt broke his collarbone which is ironic seeing how he really did break his collarbone this season. He's out for a while but Wiley has been picking up the slack nicely! Is there a higher difficulty setting? I dunno....too easy. Also, how the hell do you play D in these football games. Rarely, do I pick the right player to make a defensive play. I dunno...D sucks in these console football games. I'm in the same boat...I dunno what to get. I know I'm getting Deus Ex: Invisible War tomorrow. LOL
some recent games i've played and liked: madden 2004 grand theft auto vice city true crime: streets of LA need for speed underground SSX3 i have Rainbow Six 3 but it doesnt interest me that much i liked nba2k4 over nba live 2004
Midtown Madness on Xbox Live is the single most addicting game ever made. I HAVE BUNNY FEVER I TELL YA!!!!!
Need for Speed under ground is flat out fantastic. It is awesome! The game allows you to do so much with your cars. You begin with a stock vehicle, and there is so much you can do to upgrade it. There is no game out there that has such a variety and depth in the tweaking of the cars. It's amazing.
Castle Wolfeinstein multiplayer is great, as well as Rainbow Six 3. Counter Strike is ok but find a newbie server first to learn on.......some of those guys are insanely good. If your ever on C.W. or R.S.3 look for me, my live tag is "Heffelflooper"
I'm just starting Grand Theft auto III. One of may favorite games so far. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. It took me about 4 hours to figure out how to ditch the cops after the bank robbery. And it turned out to be so simple. The funny thing about this game is that After driving like a mad man, I yell at the other drivers when they do something stupid. Too funny.
Yeah...The cops in the game are even funnier. They kill as many innocent bystanders chasing after you than as you do...Just wait until you get a rocket launcher and start blowing up helicopters and you have the Army coming after you...
I'm really stuck right now on two missions. I've got to win that damn Turismo race thru Portland. It's about 900 blocks worth of racing and the other cars are reckless and fast. I can't beat them. This is about my 10th try. I'm thinking about trying to park about 100 cars in their way. I have no chance in hell otherwise. They blow right past me even when I'm in the mafia car. I might try a cop car too. It's just such a long race I feel as though I have no hope in hell. I'm also stuck on the mission where 8-ball bombs the boat. Unfortunately this is the only other mission to do right now. But 8-ball is too freaking fast for me. I wish his legs were broken too. By the time I scope the 4th guy he's dead. I'm just gona have to be quicker I guess. Really tough though.
Halo is the best video game of all time. Might want to pick that up. Some recent games are Prince of Persia, and Deus Ex. Be on the lookout for Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2, and Fable next year.
I think Halo 2 is due out in March. I was really hoping they'd have that ready by Christmas. Damn. I can't wait to try out the fast cars in GTA III. Last night I was driving around in the Mafia Truck and it was horrible. I was flipping all over the place. In my opinion that is the worst car in the whole game so far. Right now I like the cop cars and the black mafia Sentinel car the best. whenever I steal one of the chico cars with flames I get rammed by his buddies until I crash. So I haven't really been able to test that one out just yet. By the way, is Vice City just as good? Worse, or Better?
vice city is amazing! i'm hooked on that game. normally, i only like sports games, but this one keeps calling for me i havent played gta III yet, so i cant compare the two. i imagine its just more of the same type of stuff
Knights of the Old Republic is now my favorite XBox game over Halo. Halo rules in coop multiplayer but KOTOR rocks the single player world.

i haven't played the new one. Last year i bought Medal of Honor Frontline for ps2. I thought it was pretty cool. Especially the first level in which you stormed the beaches of normandy. After awhile it got repetitive, long and boring and i traded it in. That's the type of game that you rent from blockbuster, beat it in a few hours, or days then send it back.
