The best threads are the ones that ask a question in the title when the OP has the answer in the first post. "Am I hungry" I'm hungry guys, what's for dinner?
Nene is old and brittle. I'll just assume any injury story about him is the truth and hope he can be healthy and effective in the playoffs.
We should make a move for a vet center. Love Nene but he's not durable. I still contend that if he doesn't get injure we beat the Spurs. We need upgrades. I'm not feeling this new starting lineup with two streaky role players(Tucker and Ariza) in it. We need contributors.
I'm pretty sure the Rockets can be extra careful with all injuries due to the depth we have. Not to mention I'm sure they have deep analytics related to injuries. Considering how they have managed Anderson and Gordon so far I trust their judgment.
It's all that dunking he's done this week. He's lost all his ups and has to strain his shoulder to put the ball through the hoop.
Hey I had what I thought was a strained shoulder two weeks ago. Went to doc today and I actually tore my labrum. Surgery in two weeks. No weight lifting for 4-6 months. Cheers.
Lol. If I were a fan of some other team, I'd be right on with you, but these are the Rockets we are talking about! On the plus side, Tarik is a damn good back up to have to Nene. Plus, Dantoni can always run a Tucker/Mbah/Ariza front line for short spurts.
Good thing we signed Tarik Black. He's so much better on the glass than Harrell was last year and can finish almost as well. Nene can take whatever time he needs off.
Rest him. Strained right shoulder is probably not serious at all. We dont need him for the next couple games. Save him for big games and playoffs
