    http://stats.nba.com/player/201583/shooting/?sort=FGA&dir=1&Season=2017-18&SeasonType=Regular Season&LastNGames=4

In the last 4 games, Ryno shoots 11 for 14 at three when he receives the ball from CP3, and 2 for 8 otherwise. The difference is a shockingly high 53.6%. Small sample size for sure, but definitely something to keep an eye on. You can tell that Anderson is at a much better rhythm to shoot the three when Paul passes him the ball, and he is just deadly even on our home floor.

It seems that Chris Paul can be the solution for Ryno's shooting problem at home.

It's because Paul passes the ball with more love.

Chris Paul's passes are right on the money. Anderson can just catch and shoot in one motion.

A lot of Harden's passes are all over the place.

If this continues, TNT should break it down. A strike-zone-style map of where Anderson catches the ball when Harden throws it to him, vs. where Paul throws it to him. Also maybe a court map of where Paul throws the passes from, vs. where Harden throws them from. I noticed Paul throwing one from the inside out. Harden tends to go sideways.

I tend to agree with this. I would put Harden's court vision more or less on par with Chris', and he may even be more creative as a passer, but Paul's precision is unparalleled.

I wouldn't say Harden's passes are all over the the place. Chris Paul's passes are just heat-seeking missiles

CP3 ‘s passing is just on another level. Crazy precision!! I said a few days ago, I’m sure 70-80% of CP3 ‘s passes are converted.

Yeah cp3 has a better connection with Anderson IMO. His passes catch him in a shooting motion.

There is a stat called potential assist. CP3 is averaging 15.4 potential assists this season, with 10.2 of them convert to assists, the conversion rate is 66%, not quite 70% yet. But if you compare it with other assists leaders, Harden 52%, Westbrook 49%, Lebron 46%, it's still a dazzling number.

Catching a pass in the numbers, and often zippier, definitely helps a shooter. But note: having Harden on the floor with Paul and Ryno is by itself making Ryno more open. Now the biggest defensive worry when Paul has the ball is tracking Harden. Harden and Ryno didn't have that luxury last year.

Also, let's not forget that Ryno shot a NBA LEAGUE LEADING 47% on the road last year, without Paul. He shot 33% at home. So, either Harden hits him in the numbers enough as well (I mean, the pick n pop is a short pass), or the Home thing is a myth, unless we are to believe Paul will also increase Ryno road numbers from 47% to >50%.

This will definitely help Ryno, regardless of reason. I'm hopping he reaches 45% this year, via combination of accurate/zippier passes from Paul, and more fire power on the floor with Ryno, which will naturally make him more open.

    Small sample size means

    Small sample size

Remember when Capela missed his first 19 free throws?
Or when he shot 80+% to start the season?

For OP and any other fans of stats:

Peja Stojakovic is very similar to Ryan Anderson, and they both played with and without Chris Paul. What do you see behind these numbers.

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/stojape01.html

Were Bibby, Webber, Divac and Miller all more accurate passers than Harden, and was Peja more wide open due to all that fire power? And did Paul make a statistical difference?

It's a small difference, but he did shoot the highest 3P% on the most number of attempts with CP3.
