Actually, this graph has shortcomings. First and foremost, it doesn't take into account that at the end of some of the games, players are playing what we commonly refer to as 'trash minutes.' The game is already decided, and opponents are just playing out the clock, not playing competitive basketball. Also, in the end of really CLOSE games, it becomes a foul shooting contest. For example, if we're WAY behind, we'll chuck up a 3 pointer, and then immediately foul the other team to stop the clock. Again, these types of game minutes aren't really addressed by your graph. There's more going on inside of 48 minutes of game time than just 48 minutes.
I was thinking about this last night and I am not sure how it fits. Do you think we play better when moochie is on the court because Steve is at SG????? I think from what I ahve noticed Stevie normally sits when Moochie is on but I am not sure
