    I totally grew up watching "The Partridge Family". I loved that show as a kid. He was probably the biggest celebrity around for a while during his heyday. I assume his hard life (alcohol/drugs) took a huge toll on his body. It's very sad but he had such a great life. RIP

    I freely admit to never deliberately watching the Partridge Family, being busy doing other fun things in the early '70's, but I caught a show on the tube from time to time when visiting the folks. You certainly couldn't miss the crazy popularity of David Cassidy. He was on the cover of loads of magazines when you checked out at the grocery store. He was only 67. Way too young to leave us. Rest In Peace.
