    Can I get a guy say he had 1 year with that team (spurs) and this current Season 2017 is his second season?

    Btw, just noticed the 3 all-stars thing includes the mvp, so I'll have to change my mock draft. Thought I could draft an mvp plus three all-stars. :oops:

    looks like this will be a difficult tournament to judge with all the stacked teams.

    remember brehs, the bucks and kings are still available.

    BTW let's get it out of our system that star players can lock down star players. Never going to happen 100%.

    Merely being slowed down for stretches.

    I think in the last draft we made the mistake by doing that while judging. (while we say Payton and Bowen could effectively guard superstars. They could but only for so many games.)

    A defensive system can but not just one guy. This does not warrant a team prevailing when the score is 3-3 for example.

    I know we will see a matchup where in the playoffs Hakeem bamboozled another guy. :p But that guy with the 'right' help will get his and more than that.

    It's about the right mix and the traditional power status of your franchise in addition to leadership and coaching.

    Agree with the sentiments, but don't think anyone said that one player is enough to lock down a star. We mostly talked about the whole team and how they would be able to double team certain players etc or how one could send help defenders when the star had little help.

    That's why we should always emphasize the team aspect instead of focusing too much on individual matchups.

    That said, we can discuss the judging format etc during the draft and try to come up with the most fair format.
