Let's put Steve at the 2 guard and see how he does.I know this is not something new.But give him one last chance. If he fails at this. Then it's time to trade Steve before the deadline.Because he's had almost 5 yrs. to become this great player. And you just can't wait forever. He is a good player now.Not great. This selfish style of play never wins championships.I want Steve to do good but my patience is wearing thin.Thirty more games until trading deadline. That will be enough time to find out if this 2 guard thing is going to work.If not goodbye Steve.

I'll pass on this suggestion to JVG and let you know what he thinks in the morning.

congratulations on your first post ever. You picked a worthy topic to address imho.

He definitely needs to be put at the 2 guard, but at this point, who plays the 1?? He can't and won't be traded so if anyone's going, it's Cato and/ or Mobley(both of whom I'd like to see stick around). We need a tall point guard cuz Francis is basically worthless as a point. He'd be a very good shooting guard, but asking him to make point guard decisions, well, I think we've all figured out how incapable he is of running a team. The problem is, there are a lot more teams out there that want tall point guards than tall point guards. We're going to have to give up something valuable to get one, and until we do, we'll be hovering around .500.
