    A large part of stranger things' appeal is the 80s references to genre films. This show is doing something similar. Chill out, clutch fans.

    I would be excited about a Stranger Things ripoff. The only thing I saw that was a 'homage' was the ripoff of the Back to the Future scene where Marty plays guitar at the dance. This looks like prime-time broadcast TV tripe.

    Hilarious little details -

    When they go back in time in episode 1 and steal clothes from the bikers, the clothes they steal are exactly what Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson wore in Easy Rider.

    So, I watched the trailer. It looks like it's about these 2 future cops that travel back to the present, to recruit the only person who can help them save their future. Together, the 3 go back in time even further to nip the "bad guy" and his motivations, in the bud.

    The ONLY thing that it seems to have in common with Stranger Things, is that the 3 characters seem to have gone back to the 80s in a clip. That's it.

    Really, OP? A Stranger Things copycat? Really?

    Also, I'm in for Eliza Coupe. Woman is fine.
