For the Right On Cue file: The moment Rubio fanboys say he's figured out his shot, he proceeds to go 1-23 from 3 over next 6 games. 0-6 tonight. 14-56 overall (25%) woof. And, he's not even dishing out assists all that much, anymore. Like <4 over last 8 games.
Not sure there is a great fit for a non-shooting PG, except for systems that cater to propping up their assist numbers. Utah isn't going to let him be a quarterback PG, so I don't think this huge drop in assists this year (with increase in TO, btw) is a fluke. Utah isn't going to cater to Rubio's ball-dominant method of getting his assist numbers. That's just not their style, and he's not good enough to do that, as it never amounted to much in Minny. For a moment, it looked like Rubio was adjusting to giving up the ball, and scoring as a cutter within the flow of their offense, but that didn't last long.

Warriors starters are mysteriously coming down with "contusions". Durant a few games ago and now Curry. How exactly did they get them??? If Thompson and Green are out next for "contusions", then it starts to look suspicious and a way around the league crackdown on resting star players.
