You're not following. It is Harden, Ryno and Capela. Ryan does the same role as EGo in the Spain PnR. I have video of this. Ryan is not rolling; he's doing the pop of the Spain PnR.

It is more common for EGo, but in MDA's positionless play, the 4 can do it too.

 

I know. You're the one hunting for a new pick and pop solution, not me and MDA.

Just because it isn't a PnR, it still is an adjustment to teams successfully shutting down the two man PnR. In fact, it still can use Ryno. Pistol is not just two ppl on the strong side.

You seem focused on a discussion that fits your search for a new twist to the PnR that MDA doesn't use, yet. As I said, those discussions are not my cup of tea. I just like scouting the Rockets, and 21-series is a major package of plays and options that we switch in adjustments to various defenses.

In short, It's like telling MDA that we need to adjust to a defense and do X..2. And his response is, no we are going to scrap X altogether and run Y instead.

I think everyone is/should be fine with this tbh, especially when we're up by a good margin like yesterday, in fact, i was actually pissed to see a couple of forced quick (and bricked) 3s after those two possessions we gave to Ryan, should've done that again.
