Unless some other accusations come out that can be verified, I'm not buying the "story." A gay man goes out with George Takei 36 years ago that Takei has no memory of (and I believe him. I can't recall everything I did 36 years ago, sexual or otherwise, much as I would like to), and only now decides to come out with this story? He's looking for a payday, in my opinion.

As a liberal, I will say this: Takei is being hypocritical here. He is the one who said we must listen to the victims- doesn’t that include this person? George doesn’t get a pass due to his liberalism - he has to apply his statement to his own situation

Sexual assault isn’t a bipartisan thing to me like is with folks on the right. If this guy (who I’ve never really heard of) is accused of sexual assault, the victim deserves the right to be heard and the accuser has a right to defend his or herself. The accusations should always be taken seriously though.

However.... if we want to talk about partisanship here as Russian Legend is trying to start up, just think about this for a second if you really want to try and go there...

-The Weinstein scandal comes out and its outrage from the right against all Democrats as if we all did it too. How dare Hillary have taken donations from Harvey years ago etc etc. Even after he’s shunned from folks on the left almost immediately (CNN had a running clock for when Hillary would denounce Weinstein for crying out loud), donations are returned or given to charity shortly after, and he’s likely going to get criminal convictions.

-A year ago Trump brags about sexual assault on camera, is accused of multiple sexual assaults, has civil charges filed, Roy Moore is accused of pedophilia and admits to dating teens in his 30’s... and the right not only doesn’t think it’s a big deal... they BLAME LIBERALS, and elects the SOB’s because they hate liberals that much that they’d elect a pedophile instead of voting for a democrat.

Yeah you want to talk about partisanship and sexual misconduct???....RussianLegend... this is not the scenario you want to put “liberal” in the tag line as if it’s a referendum on 60% of Americans who vote Democratic, and don’t watch FoxNews religiously.

It's a serious accusation but strange given that they were on a date and he did go back to his place. So why would he need to drug him and take his clothes off? None of the other cases of sexual harassment don't involve going on a date with the person and then back to their place.

Well, RocketsLegend lost all credibility about 18 months ago, so you're right- until the day he denounces Trump and acknowledges Trump's 18 accusers, he has no place absolutely whatsoever to say anything about anyone else committing sexual harassment.
