    The Jazz had the 3rd best defensive rating in the NBA before playing the Rockets.
    After the Rockets torched them for 137 points, they dropped to 10th.

    Despite losing Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder, the Celts are a much better defensive team this year. They are best in the NBA by a wide margin so far.

    Def rating has gone from 105.5 to 95.9 (which is almost unbelievable)
    Def reb % has increased from 75.3 to 81.4

    No sane person would have predicted this.

    Take THAT for data!

    One of our biggest weaknesses last year was defensive rebounding. We had a dreb% of 75.8 for 22nd in the league.

    One of the more underrated aspects of defense, imo, we are doing a much better job boxing out and securing possessions.

    This year we are leading the league with a 82.7 dreb%.
